Crafting Mythic Uniques

In Diablo 4 Season 7, crafting Mythic Uniques is a major goal for many players. However, obtaining these powerful items requires special materials, a lot of gold, and an understanding of the crafting system. Let’s break down everything you need to know about crafting Mythic Uniques, including the resources required, where to craft them, and the most efficient ways to obtain the necessary materials.

To craft a Mythic Unique, you’ll need a special material known as Resplendent Sparks. Each attempt at crafting one will cost:

• 2 Resplendent Sparks
• 50 million gold

This means that acquiring these Sparks is essential before you can even begin the process. There are two different crafting methods, and the way you approach this will depend on whether you want a random Mythic Unique or a specific one.

If you choose to craft a random Mythic Unique, you’ll need to head to the Blacksmith or the Jeweler in any town. The process is straightforward:

1. Open the Forge Equipment menu.
2. Navigate to the Mythic Uniques tab.
3. Spend 2 Resplendent Sparks and 50 million gold to craft a random Mythic Unique.

Keep in mind that this method gives you no control over which Mythic Unique you’ll receive, other than the fact that it will be compatible with your class. For example, if you’re playing a Sorceress, you won’t receive a two-handed sword, since it wouldn’t be usable for your class.

If you want to craft a specific Mythic Unique, the process is more complicated. Instead of relying on RNG, you’ll need:

• 2 Resplendent Sparks
• 6 copies of multiple different runes

To craft your chosen Mythic Unique, follow these steps:

1. Visit the Jeweler in town.
2. Select Mythic Uniques from the crafting menu.
3. Choose the Mythic Unique you want to craft.

Each Mythic Unique requires a specific set of runes, which brings us to the next major challenge—obtaining these runes.

Rune Conversion System

Runes are technically tradeable, but acquiring the right ones can be difficult. You can also attempt to convert runes using the in-game system:

• Combine three runes of the same rarity to generate another rune of the same tier.
• 15% chance to get a rune of a higher rarity when converting.

However, this system is highly inefficient because of the 3:1 ratio—meaning you could end up wasting valuable runes. For lower-rarity runes, this method might be worth it, but for Legendary runes, a better option is to trade them on Diablo. Trade.

Instead of converting runes, it’s often more efficient to sell the ones you don’t need for gold and then buy the specific ones required for your Mythic Unique. The reason? Crafting Mythic Uniques requires an enormous amount of gold, and farming enough purely through gameplay is nearly impossible.

• Trading runes is often the most effective way to obtain the ones you need.
• Gold farming alone will take hundreds of millions to acquire all the necessary runes.

However, while runes are tradeable, Resplendent Sparks are not. This means you must farm them yourself rather than obtaining them through trade.

Guaranteed Ways to Obtain Resplendent Sparks

Although Resplendent Sparks are account-bound and cannot be traded, there are specific ways to acquire them. One of the best opportunities available right now is through the Lunar Event.

Lunar Event – Limited-Time Spark Farming

The Lunar Event is a time-limited event that offers an additional Resplendent Spark as a reward. The event is active until February 18th, so you’ll want to take advantage of it while you can.

Tributes of Ascendence

These special tributes provide a chance to obtain a Mythic Unique, but they are not a guaranteed source. Let’s go over how these tributes work, how to acquire them, and other effective ways to farm Sparks.

There are two different Tributes of Ascendence that you can use to increase your chances of getting a Mythic Unique:

• Tribute of Ascendence: Resolute – Works only for yourself.
• Tribute of Ascendence: United – Works for an entire party.

These tributes provide a chance to reward you with a Mythic Unique, but the exact drop rate is unknown. What we do know is that it is not a 100% guarantee, so don’t expect to get a Mythic Unique every time you use one.

Tributes of Ascendence must be activated in the Undercity, which is accessible if you own the expansion. Here’s how to use them:

1. Obtain a Tribute of Ascendence (explained below).
2. Travel to the Undercity and locate the NPC responsible for activating the tribute.
3. Use the tribute, which will trigger the event.
4. Complete the event and at the end, you’ll have a chance to receive a Mythic Unique.

The primary way to acquire Tributes of Ascendence is through Whisper Caches. These caches are obtained from completing Whispers of the Dead activities. If you're looking for another guaranteed way to obtain Resplendent Sparks, Coven’s Favor is a key system to take advantage of. This method involves completing Whispers of the Dead activities, similar to a bounty board found in previous Diablo seasons.

While Whispers appear in every season, their mechanics sometimes change. In Season 7, players have the opportunity to farm these repeatedly under certain conditions. Here’s how it works and why it’s an essential method for acquiring Resplendent Sparks.
