Wild Strike of Extremes Trickster - Path of Exile 3.24

Grinding Gear Games added Transfigured Gems to Path of Exile, which definitely shook the game up and allowed players to create new and exciting builds. One of the Transfigured Gems we are going to talk about today is the Wild Strike of Extremes.

If you have played PoE back then, you know that Elemental Hit builds are the king in terms of damage. However, they have since fallen to the wayside because there are just way too many options that are worth your time.

Fortunately, GGG has made a similar gem that we are going to incorporate into a build. If you are interested in learning more, do read further. This is our comprehensive build guide for the Wild Strike of Extremes Trickster in Path of Exile 3.24 Necropolis League!

Basics

If you are relatively new to Path of Exile and are not familiar with the Elemental Hit builds of old, we will give you a refresher. Basically, Elemental Hit is an attack skill gem that enables you to cycle through the three elemental damage types – fire, cold, and lightning.

The interesting thing here is that you can actually force only one of those elements so that each attack will only deal that type of damage. In the case of Elemental Hit, fire was the best option.

Fast forward to today and you have a build that uses similar mechanics, albeit instead of fire damage, you are going to focus on cold damage. That is why the Wild Strike of Extremes Trickster was born.

Wild Strike of Extremes is a Transfigured Gem that, unlike the original, has slightly higher damage effectiveness. However, this comes at a great cost because this version uses life, mana, and energy shield with each attack.

So, why are we using it then? Well, that is due to the fact that the strike skill gem treats enemy resistances as being inverted. Let’s say that you are hitting an enemy that innately has a 40% resistance to cold damage. With the Wild Strike of Extremes, that turns into -40% cold resistance instead, causing you to deal even more damage!

Speaking of cold damage, this build utilizes a couple of Combat Focus jewels to ensure that the only elemental damage type you are going to deal is cold. If you are wondering why this is the case, there are a few reasons.

First, Wild Strike of Extremes’ cold damage lets you unleash an icy wave that has the tags: cold, projectile, and attack. Second, with these tags, it is easier for you to scale the damage of the build. And third, there are pieces of gear that just work great for cold damage, which will be discussed in greater detail later on in the build guide.

Because this build requires some important items to work, this is not a league starter at all. However, this is definitely something that you can try if you have saved up enough PoE currency.

Now that you know how Wild Strike of Extremes works on a fundamental level, how can you address its life, mana, and energy shield resource requirements? Well, this build utilizes leech to great effect.

Furthermore, to mitigate the damage you will receive, the Wild Strike of Extremes Trickster stacks as many Endurance Charges and Frenzy Charges thanks to the Replica Badge of the Brotherhood.

This build is incredibly tanky, though it does need you to have enough Divine Orbs to get the necessary pieces of gear.

Speaking of gear, there is a one-handed and two-handed version of this build. While the latter certainly deals damage at a much lower investment, the former is definitely something you want to strive for in the long run.

Anyway, look for these mods on your gear to improve the damage output of this build:

  • Added Physical Damage

  • Increased Physical Damage

  • Increased Cold Damage

  • Increased Elemental Damage

  • + to Critical Strike Multiplier

  • Increased Attack Speed

  • Increased Melee Physical Damage

  • Increased Projectile Damage

If you have combed through the patch notes for Path of Exile: Necropolis League, you may have read that there are plenty of changes to mana reservation and mana cost of skills.

One huge change in Patch 3.24 is that the “25% Reduced Mana Cost of Flasks” is no longer available in the game. This requires you to take some notable passive skills just to address the issue. The good news is that this build is still quite viable despite the mana nerfs!

Our POB link has been updated to accommodate the adjustments GGG has made in the 3.24 Necropolis League, so feel free to plug that into the program to serve as a guide.

Playstyle

Despite the fact that you are using different mechanics to sustain the build, the Wild Strike of Extremes Trickster is actually pretty fun and easy to play.

If you are playing the one-handed version of the build, you can use Shield Charge to navigate your way through the map. On the other hand, if you’re using the two-handed version, you can opt for Leap Slam instead. Either way, traverse the map and find a huge pack of monsters, then simply use Wild Strike of Extremes until they are dead!

When you face tough monsters, drop your Ancestral Protector totem to gain a considerable boost in attack speed. Additionally, use Frostblink to cause enemies to take more cold damage. We will explain why this is the case later on in the build guide.

Ascendancy

What is one ascendancy class in Path of Exile that helps you leech energy shield off of your enemies? If you do not know the answer, it is actually the Trickster.

Soul Drinker is a notable ascendancy passive skill that lets you leech energy shield from monsters based on a portion of your total damage. What’s more, you are constantly leeching because the ES leech effect is not removed even if the said resource is already filled. This means that so long as you are attacking something, you do not have to worry about your ES at all!

Escape Artist, the ascendancy node that precedes Soul Drinker, is a great way to boost your maximum energy shield. You see, this notable ascendancy passive skill provides you with heaps of ES based on the amount of evasion your equipped body armor has. For this reason, you are going to craft your own, but the good thing is that it is quite easy to do. More on this in the “Gear” section of the build guide.

Spellbreaker aids in improving your survivability immensely. This not only grants you a 20% chance to suppress spell damage, but you prevent 10% of suppressed spell damage while you are on full ES as well. This makes it easier for you to cap your spell suppression to 100%.

Polymath helps sustain your life, mana, and energy shield, which are resources that you need to use Wild Strike of Extremes. Additionally, this ascendancy node grants you more damage for each different type of Mastery you have allocated on the passive tree.

We highly recommend that you spend PoE currency to get the Forbidden Flesh and Forbidden Flame jewels with “Swift Killer” as the matching modifier. Since this build stacks Frenzy Charges, it just makes sense to have this node because it raises your Maximum Frenzy Charges by two. If you cannot purchase these jewels yet, you do have the option of replacing Spellbreaker for this one. However, you will have to adjust your gear accordingly to account for the loss of spell suppression chance.

Notable Passive Skills for the Wild Strike of Extremes Trickster

Gear

The pieces of gear that make Wild Strike of Extremes Trickster comfortable and enjoyable to use are expensive. But, the good news is that you will definitely feel the power of each item, making them worthwhile investments.

Weapon

The Wild Strike of Extremes Trickster is a bit similar to how endgame Flicker Strike builds are made, primarily because they use the same weapon – the Paradoxica.

This thing needs no introduction. It is a great one-handed sword that allows you to deal double damage. Not only that, but it also comes with other amazing mods, including DEX/INT, physical damage, and attack speed.

The Paradoxica can roll with other veiled mods as well. But, the one we recommend is the version that has “% Chance to Blind on Hit” just to improve your survivability.

Paradoxica

Shield

The best shield that you can equip is a synthesized shield with “+1 to Maximum Frenzy Charges” as an implicit modifier. Once you get your hands on a good synthesized shield, you can then use it as a crafting base. Spam it with your preferred Essences until you get spell suppression, elemental resistance, attack speed, and some life.

If the shield you are using as a crafting base has evasion and energy shield as its main defensive layers, it naturally cannot roll any STR mods. For this reason, you might want to use the Deafening Essence of Rage to force STR onto the shield when crafting.

Self-crafted Synthesized Shield

Obviously, such shields are pretty expensive on the trade website, especially since there are plenty of builds in Path of Exile that utilize Frenzy Charges in one way or another.

A viable alternative to a synthesized shield is Atziri’s Reflection. This unique Golden Buckler makes you immune to curses. But more importantly, it grants you a ton of evasion and energy shield, as well as elemental resistances.

Atziri's Reflection

Body Armor

Your choice of body armor for this build is an ilvl 86+ Sadist Garb that has a ton of evasion rating. This is to take advantage of the Trickster’s “Escape Artist” notable ascendancy passive skill.

Ideally, get a Sadist Garb with the mod “% Increased Evasion and Energy Shield” already fractured so that it will be easier for you to get the other modifiers. Having said that, spam the said body armor with Deafening Essence of Doubt (Evasion Rating) until you get spell suppression, elemental resistance, chaos resistance, increased evasion/energy shield, and attributes (if you still need DEX or INT).

Make sure that you have an open prefix so that you can bench-craft “6% of Physical Damage from Hits Taken as Fire/Lightning Damage.” If all of your affixes are filled, you can use an Eldritch Orb of Annulment followed by a Lesser Eldritch Ember to safely remove a prefix.

Once you are happy with your explicit modifiers, it is now time to get the implicits sorted out. Spam the body armor with Grand Eldritch Ichors until you get “Hatred Has % Increased Aura Effect” and Grand Eldritch Embers for “% Increased Effect of Non-Curse Auras from Your Skills.”

Self-crafted Body Armor

Helmet

Remember what we said about the Wild Strike of Extremes Trickster being a bit similar to Flicker Strike builds in PoE? Aside from the weapon, this build uses a similar helmet as well; the Forbidden Shako, to be precise.

This unique helmet can roll a plethora of different modifiers, but the ones you are looking for are “Melee Physical Damage” and “Ice Bite.” You see, the Forbidden Shako is the only way you can achieve a Level 30+ Ice Bite. This grants insane amounts of added cold damage. In addition, you deal even more cold damage per Frenzy Charge!

Because such a helmet is used by other builds, expect this to cost astronomically high. If you still do not have the currency yet, you could wear the Heatshiver for the time being.

Forbidden Shako

Gloves

While you can wear a pair of two-target Strike Skill Gloves, you will opt for some unique gloves instead. The Abhorrent Interrogation provides you with some incredible modifiers that work wonders for the build. These gloves allow you to deal more damage thanks to their unique effect.

Every time you attack with Wild Strike of Extremes, you inflict the Wither debuff on your foes. This is a debuff that is supposed to increase the chaos damage your enemies take based on the number of Wither stacks they have.

But with the Abhorrent Interrogation equipped, you actually deal 4% increased elemental damage per stack. With Wither able to stack up to 15 times, you get a total of 60% increased elemental damage while wearing the gloves!

Another major reason why you need to wear the Abhorrent Interrogation is that you can corrupt this with a Vaal Orb for a chance to obtain the implicit mod: “+1 to Maximum Frenzy Charges.”

Abhorrent Interrogation

In Path of Exile 3.24 Necropolis League, you can actually craft a pair of gloves that can roll with the mod: “+1 to Maximum Frenzy Charges.” To do this, you have to use corpses that increase your chance of getting Haunted and prefix modifiers. Additionally, you’d want other mods that you do not need to become scarcer. These modifiers are caster, speed, critical, and elemental. If you are lucky, you should get a pair of gloves that look something like this:

Self-crafted Murder Mitts (with +1 Frenzy Charge Prefix)

Boots

Ask any Path of Exile player out there what the ideal boots are to wear for charge-stacking builds, they will always tell you that it is Ralakesh’s Impatience.

These boots have a unique effect where you always count as having the maximum number of Endurance/Frenzy/Power Charges so long as you are wearing them.

While you can wear the non-corrupted version of these boots, you can corrupt it to gain some spell suppression if you want to.

Although the movement speed mod has been expunged in the 3.24 Necropolis League, it is still the best-in-slot when it comes to the boots for the Wild Strike of Extremes Trickster. Do not worry, you still have Shield Charge or Leap Slam to rely on when moving around the map.

Ralakesh's Impatience

Amulet

This build naturally does not have a ton of physical damage mitigation because it focuses on improving evasion and energy shield. Luckily, you can rectify that by having Endurance Charges. For this reason, you are going to wear the Replica Badge of the Brotherhood.

Unlike the original version of this amulet, the Replica Badge of the Brotherhood makes your Maximum Endurance Charges on par with your Maximum Frenzy Charges. This is the reason why you stack as many Frenzy Charges as you can because this item hits two birds with one stone.

The replica version does cost a bit more than the original. The good news is that you can also benefit from using the original since it grants Power Charges rather than Endurance Charges for increased crit chance. Until you can get your hands on the Replica Badge of the Brotherhood, the normal version is fine.

Don’t forget to anoint the amulet with Disciple of the Unyielding (Violet Oil, Crimson Oil, Opalescent Oil) so that you gain an 8% damage increase per Endurance Charge.

Replica Badge of the Brotherhood

Rings

There are two different rings that you need to use for the Wild Strike of Extremes Trickster. The first is a unique ring called the Nimis. You want to wear it for its unique effect, where the projectiles from your strike skill return to you, thus effectively dealing damage twice.

If you can recall, the cold portion of Wild Strike of Extremes unleashes icy projectiles. Normally, these projectiles fly out in a straight path, but with the Nimis, they return to you after traveling their maximum distance. Do not worry about the projectiles moving in random directions because they still return to you regardless.

Nimis

For the second ring, you will equip a synthesized ring with the “+1 to Maximum Frenzy Charges” implicit modifier. If you have acquired the base, you can craft it using Essence of Horror for that “4 to 8 Added Cold Damage per Frenzy Charge” prefix.

Spam Essence of Horror until you get T1 “% Increased Elemental Damage with Attack Skills” and an open suffix. After that, lock your prefixes and then use a Veiled Orb. Head to Jun and unveil. You are looking for the “+ to Maximum Life, Regenerates 5.3 Mana per Second” veiled prefix.

Once you have all the desired mods sorted out, lock the prefixes again, and use an Orb of Scouring to remove the suffixes. Add multimod followed by “+ to Accuracy Rating” and “% Increased Global Critical Strike Chance, +% to Critical Strike Multiplier if You’ve Shattered an Enemy Recently” from the Crafting Bench.

Self-crafted Synthesized Ring

As mentioned earlier in the build guide, GGG has made some significant changes to mana reservation and mana cost reduction of skills in Patch 3.24. If you are struggling to sustain mana, one way you can rectify that is by adding the prefix, “Non-Channeling Skills Have -7 to Total Mana Cost” from the Crafting Bench.

Since that is a prefix mod, you can replace the veiled life/mana mod to accommodate it.

Self-crafted Synthesized Ring (with +1 Frenzy Charge Implicit Mod)

Belt

The Mageblood is just an incredible belt for the Wild Strike of Extremes Trickster for, without it, you will have a hard time sorting out your elemental resistances and survivability.

Mageblood

If the price of the Mageblood is too steep, you can get an ilvl 86+ Heavy Belt and use it as a crafting base. Spam it with Deafening the Essence of Anger (Fire Resistance) or the Deafening Essence of Wrath (Lightning Resistance) until you get T1 STR, Life, and “% Increased Elemental Damage with Attack Skills.”

Leave a prefix open so that you can use the Redeemer’s Exalted Orb. The mod that you are looking for is either “% Increased Cold Damage” or “% Increased Damage with Hits Against Chilled Enemies.”

Once you have all of the desired mods, spam the belt with Turbulent Catalysts (Elemental Damage) for good measure.

Self-crafted Heavy Belt (with Redeemer Mod)

Flasks

  • Jade Flask

  • Quicksilver Flask

  • Diamond Flask

  • The Wise Oak

  • Taste of Hate

The previous version of the build used a trifecta of elemental resistance flasks, including the Ruby Flask, Sapphire Flask, and Topaz Flask. However, since they have been adjusted in the 3.24 Necropolis League, they are no longer the best flasks to use for the build. For this reason, you should sort out your elemental resistances by wearing some self-crafted gear.

So, what flasks are you going to use now? Well, you have the Jade Flask to give you a considerable boost to your evasion.

The Diamond Flask is amazing as it helps you raise your crit chance high enough, enabling you to make quick work of the enemy.

The Quicksilver Flask is there to aid in your map-clearing speed.

Taste of Hate is a staple among cold damage-dealing builds in PoE. This serves as both a defensive and offensive flask, which makes it a nice addition to your flask setup. It is also quite inexpensive, so you should be able to get your hands on it quite early on.

The Wise Oak is a very useful flask as it grants you elemental penetration based on your highest uncapped elemental resistance. Since you are dealing cold damage, your cold resistance should be higher than your fire resistance and lightning resistance.

On top of that, The Wise Oak reduces the damage you take depending on whichever element has the lowest uncapped value. If your fire resistance is lower than your cold resistance and lightning resistance, for example, then you will take reduced fire damage from enemy attacks or spells when the flask is active.

If you’re happy with your damage output and you want to improve your chances of survival, then you should get your hands on the Progenesis. You see, with this flask, a quarter of the damage you take will be doled out over a four-second period instead of taking it immediately. This gives you more than enough time to recover through life and ES leech. Of course, due to the value that this flask provides from a survival standpoint, the Progenesis is not going to be cheap. That is why you should have a lot of PoE currency on hand to get one.

Flask Mods

  • 60% Increased Evasion (of the Impala)

  • 55% Increased Critical Strike Chance (of Incision)

  • 17% Increased Attack Speed (of the Dove) OR 14% Increased Movement Speed (of the Cheetah)

  • Abecedarian/Alchemist/Dabbler (Prefix, 25% Increased Effect) (only if you have the Mageblood)

  • Specialist’s/Surgeon’s (Prefix, Gain a Flask Charge When You Deal a Critical Strike) (only if you are using the self-crafted Heavy Belt)

Jewels

Wild Strike of Extremes is a strike skill gem in Path of Exile that converts 100% of your physical damage to fire, cold, and lightning damage. When you use the gem as is, you are actually not optimizing its damage potential. Hence, you will utilize a couple of Combat Focus jewels, specifically the Viridian and Cobalt variants, to address that. These jewels will force Wild Strike of Extremes to only deal cold damage each and every time you use it.

Now, the said jewels can only be obtained via vendor recipes. To get the Combat Focus Viridian Jewel, go to any PoE vendor and put a normal Wild Strike skill gem, a Ruby Ring, and a Sapphire Ring on the trade window, and confirm the transaction.

For the Combat Focus Cobalt Jewel, the process is the same except that you substitute the Ruby Ring with a Topaz Ring instead. It is important to note that both of the Wild Strike skill gems should have a 20% quality, so you may have to use Gemcutter’s Prisms to achieve this. The rings used for the vendor recipes can be of any rarity.

The other jewels that you will use on this build are welcome additions. The Watcher’s Eye is just too hard to pass up considering that you have several auras active at once. Purchase a Watcher’s Eye with any of these modifiers:

  • Precision

    • % Increased Attack Speed

    • +% to Critical Strike Multiplier

    • Increased Attack Damage

    • Gain a Flask Charge When You Deal a Critical Strike

  • Discipline

    • Gain Energy Shield per Enemy Hit

    • Regenerate % of Energy Shield per Second

  • Grace

    • +% Chance to Evade Attack Hits

    • +% Chance to Suppress Spell Damage

    • % Increased Movement Speed

  • Hatred

    • Damage Penetrates % Cold Resistance

    • % Increased Cold Damage

    • +% to Critical Strike Chance

Large Cluster Jewels are a great way to add more life leech and accuracy. Get at least one with “Sword Attacks Deal 12% Increased Damage” as a base and then use Harvest Reforge Speed until you obtain Martial Prowess, Feed the Fury, and a third notable passive skill. The last one can be anything as long as it is in the middle so that you can save a couple of passive skill points.

This build deals huge amounts of damage via critical strikes. If you are unhappy with your crit chance, you can add a Medium Cluster Jewel (Critical Strike Chance) and use Harvest Reforge Critical until you obtain Basics of Pain and Pressure Points.

Now, the Wild Strike of Extremes Trickster cannot achieve full elemental ailment immunity on its own. This is only possible with the help of Stormshroud coupled with an Elegant Hubris with “80% Chance to Avoid Being Shocked” as one of the bonuses.

Since the most accessible jewel slots have already been populated, you’ll have to include an Impossible Escape (Pain Attunement) to fit Stormshroud and Elegant Hubris on the passive tree. Now you know why this build can get pretty expensive.

Gems

With all of the necessary items laid out, it is now time to talk about the gems you will be using for the build. The Wild Strike of Extremes Trickster, at least our version of the build, is an aura stacker because of the number of auras you will activate. For this reason, there is no room for flexibility, meaning, you cannot swap the gems that will be mentioned in this part of the build guide.

Helmet

  • Wild Strike of Extremes

  • Awakened Multistrike Support

  • Awakened Elemental Damage with Attacks

  • Endurance Charge on Melee Stun Support

Thanks to the Forbidden Shako, you have the liberty of putting your main attack setup on the helmet to gain a significant boost in damage.

The Wild Strike of Extremes is, of course, your bread and butter. This is supported by Awakened Multistrike, which enables you to fire three projectiles instead of one per cast. However, the main reason why you are using this is so that each subsequent hit is more devastating than the last.

Endurance Charge on Melee Stun Support is just there to give your Endurance Charges a “4% More Damage” multiplier.

Since you are effectively dealing elemental damage with Wild Strike of Extremes, it just makes sense to use Awakened Elemental Damage with Attacks as well. With this particular support gem, you can run maps with the “Reflect Elemental Damage” mod without fear.

Body Armor

  • Grace

  • Discipline

  • Precision

  • Herald of Ice

  • Enlighten Support (Lvl 4)

  • Phase Run

The Wild Strike of Extremes Trickster is not only a Frenzy Charge stacker, but it is also an aura stacker just based on the number of auras you have to activate on this build.

Grace and Discipline provide you with a hefty boost to your evasion rating and energy shield, respectively. Precision is an amazing aura that helps improve your accuracy and crit chance.

Herald of Ice enhances your map-clearing potential by giving you more cold damage, as well as the ability to cause shattered enemies to explode, dealing AoE damage in the process.

To be able to activate all of these auras, you have to insert a level 4 Enlighten Support in the body armor too!

Now, you may have noticed that we have included the Phase Run movement skill in this setup. Well, the reason is actually very simple.

You see, if you press “Alt” on the Wild Strike of Extremes skill gem, you will find that it has the “melee” tag on it. This means that you can actually gain the benefits of increased melee damage mods. That is why Phase Run is part of the build.

When you activate Phase Run, you gain movement speed and more melee physical damage for a brief period. You might not have thought of this before, but this is definitely a worthy inclusion for melee damage builds in PoE!

That said, you have to manually activate Phase Run since you can no longer bind instant skills on the left click in Patch 3.24. Luckily, you only have to use it when fighting against tough monsters or bosses.

Gloves

  • Hatred

  • Divine Blessing Support

  • Inspiration Support

  • Increased Duration Support

With all of the auras socketed into your body armor, you no longer have enough mana to activate one permanent aura. Fortunately, you can utilize Divine Blessing Support to circumvent this. Link it to Hatred so that the said aura turns from a permanent one into a buff that lasts for a short duration.

Hatred is just an incredible aura for cold damage-dealing builds like the Wild Strike of Extremes Trickster. Since this build already deals a ton of damage, you only need to activate Hatred whenever you encounter a tougher enemy.

Each activation of Hatred costs mana upfront. This is the reason why Inspiration Support is also included in the setup to reduce the mana cost required to use the said aura.

Boots

  • Immortal Call

  • Automation Support

  • Shield Charge

  • Faster Attacks Support

Automation Support is a new support gem that was introduced in the 3.24 Necropolis League. As previously mentioned, GGG has made it so that you can no longer bind instant skills on the left mouse button. Well, this support gem is the reason for that.

Be that as it may, Automation Support is actually a pretty good addition to the build. This enables you to use a max-level Immortal Call, giving you immense physical and elemental damage reduction.

What’s more, the new support gem automatically activates Immortal Call whenever it is off cooldown, so you don’t even have to worry about it! Just make sure to raise Automation Support’s gem quality to 20% to increase the cooldown recovery rate of Immortal Call.

Shield Charge is your primary movement ability for the Wild Strike of Extremes Trickster. It is linked to Faster Attacks Support so that using Shield Charge feels less clunky.

If you are using the two-handed version of this build, you should replace Shield Charge with Leap Slam.

Weapon

  • Ancestral Protector

  • Frostblink

  • Boneshill Support

These are the things that you use whenever you encounter tough monsters or bosses in PoE. Aside from activating Phase Run and Hatred, drop your Ancestral Protector as well. This totem grants you heaps of attack speed, allowing you to slay monsters with ease.

Frostblink, by itself, is just a movement ability. However, when you link it with Bonechill Support, it causes enemies to take increased cold damage from your attacks based on the magnitude of its chill effect.

Shield

  • Assassin’s Mark

  • Mark on Hit

  • Lifetap Support/Enhance Support

You want to make sure that all of your Wild Strike of Extremes projectiles will land as critical hits. Therefore, you will use the Assassin’s Mark to greatly increase your crit chance and crit multiplier against affected monsters. Plus, you get some life and mana in return for killing these enemies.

With the mana cost reduction mod no longer available on flasks in Patch 3.24, you should link Assassin’s Mark with Lifetap Support, especially if you are running into issues with its activation.

However, if you do not have any problems with mana cost, you can swap Lifetap for Enhance Support to, well, enhance the effect of Assassin’s Mark.

Tattoos

As if the mana changes in Path of Exile 3.24 Necropolis League were not bad enough, GGG has removed the Wildwood Ascendancies from the game as well. Addressing your mana reservation issues would have been a cinch if Charms and the “That Which Was Taken” unique jewel are still here. But, they are now gone, so you just have to accept that and move on.

If there is any consolation, the company did bring back the Tattoos from a couple of leagues ago, which enables you to bolster some aspects of the build.

Having said that, are there any Tattoos that you can use for the Wild Strike of Extremes Trickster? Absolutely! Here are our recommendations:

  • Tattoo of the Arohongui Warrior

    • 5% Increased Cold Damage

  • Tattoo of the Arohongui Shaman

    • 5% Increased Effect of Herald Buffs on You

  • Tattoo of the Tasalio Scout

    • 4% Increased Effect of Your Marks

  • Tattoo of the Ramako Archer

    • 5% Increased Global Accuracy Rating

  • Tattoo of the Ramako Sniper

    • 5% Increased Projectile Speed

  • Tattoo of the Ramako Shaman

    • +2% Chance to Suppress Spell Damage

  • Tattoo of the Ramako Fleetfoot

    • 2% Increased Movement Speed

Final Thoughts

The Wild Strike of Extremes Trickster is an endgame build that deals huge amounts of damage thanks to the Forbidden Shako and Paradoxica. By utilizing a couple of Combat Focus jewels, you will deal nothing but cold damage each and every time you use the said attack skill gem.

While there are many variations of the build, we have found this version to be the best among the rest. This build is an incredible mapper and a capable boss killer, especially if you have all of the necessary items equipped.

The only thing that you need to be aware of is that this build is quite expensive to put up. But, if you have the PoE currency, then we highly encourage you to try it out for yourself!

In our updated build guide, we have also included a two-handed version of the build, which does not require a massive investment to put up!

Despite the mana changes GGG has implemented in Path of Exile 3.24 Necropolis League, this build still performs admirably well. However, you have to make certain adjustments just to make things work.

With that said, good luck on your adventures in Wraeclast, Exile!

PROS
