Protean logs have the interval reduced from eight ticks (4.8 seconds) to seven (4.2 seconds). This stacks with protean powerups, reducing the interval between two logs to six ticks (3.6 seconds).

The can is obtained with 2,000 charges, and each log burned consumes a charge. It can be refilled by participating in Char's training cave. Each shape completed grants 100 charges to the pitch can. It is tradeable when completely full or empty.
