The strange old lockpick provides a better success rate for opening coffins within the Hallowed Sepulchre compared to a normal lockpick. Additionally this lockpick will speed up looting coffins compared to having a normal lockpick or no lockpick. It does not use any charges when used in the Hallowed Sepulchre.

Despite being an improved variant of a lockpick within the Hallowed Sepulchre, it cannot be used in place of a regular lockpick outside of the Hallowed Sepulchre.
