Roblox Grow a Garden is more than just selling the most expensive plants to gain Sheckles. It is also about letting your creative juices flow, resulting in grandiose creations, such as a very lively garden! Of course, to do that, you need to grow the right plants.

So in this article, we will go over the seven best fun plants to grow in Roblox GAG. These plants are aesthetically pleasing, and you can add them to suit a particular theme if you so desire.

Take note that some of the plants that are going to be mentioned here are currently not available in Sam's Seed Shop in-game. However, you can buy seeds from our Grow a Garden Store if you want to get a hold of them, stat!

Best Fun Plants in Grow a Garden

What makes a particular plant "fun" in Roblox GAG? First and foremost, the design of the plant has to be whimsical, with bright colors, cool shapes, and aesthetics that perfectly suit a certain concept. For instance, if you'd like to go for a fairy tale-themed garden, the so-called "fun plant" has to fit right in.

Another factor to consider is that the plant must have an unusual growth behavior. You see, most plants in Grow a Garden only reach a particular height even at max maturity. However, fun plants grow in weird ways, so much so that they're greatly desired for gardens that focus more on aesthetics.

Of course, fun plants to grow in Roblox GAG are those that have the wow factor. One look at such crops and you'll definitely want to include them in your garden as soon as possible.

With that out of the way, let's go over the best fun plants to grow in Grow a Garden.

7. Moon Melon

The first fun plant on the list is the Moon Melon. Originally introduced as part of the Blood Moon Update, the Moon Melon is a Mythical plant that originally has a rather purple exterior.

However, what makes it a fun plant to grow in Grow a Garden is that it looks like a completely different fruit when it is affected by certain crop mutations. Take a look at the image above as a good example of this.

The one that you are looking at is a Moon Melon that has the "Pollinated" crop mutation. This mutation can be applied in numerous ways, including the use of the Mutation Spray Pollinated, during the "Bee Swarm" special weather event, and through some pets like the Petal Bee, Wasp, and Queen Bee.

In addition, the Moon Melon is easy to put in any part of your garden because its fruit isn't gigantic, which means that you can place them in any order you want without occupying too much space.

6. Beanstalk

Ah yes, the stuff of fairy tales! The Beanstalk is one of the most unusual plants in Grow a Garden, making it a fun addition to a themed garden. The plant itself can grow tall, so it is placed in the back part of your garden or at the sides.

You only need the Beanstalk for its plant, though. Its produce is not particularly pleasing to the eyes, though you could put it in the middle portion of your garden for some visual appeal.

If you really want to use the Beanstalk's produce, you might as well have it affected by some of those beautiful crop mutations, such as the "Pollinated" mutation mentioned earlier, or the colorful "Disco" mutation. The latter can be applied by the Disco Bee, which you can purchase from our Grow a Garden Store.

5. Moon Mango

Next on the list is the Moon Mango. What makes this a fun plant, in our opinion, is that it has a dark purple color as opposed to the usual yellow exterior of the regular Mango in Roblox GAG.

If you see that small leaf at the top of the fruit, you will know that it lights up differently depending on the mutation. The one in the image above shows a Moon Mango that is affected by the "Shocked" mutation.

Are you new to Grow a Garden? Crop mutations, such as the "Shocked" mutation, can be applied by meeting certain conditions. That said, this fun plant can be shocked by using the Lightning Rod to force lightning bolts to strike near your garden during a thunderstorm. 4. Sugar Apple

What normally comes to your mind when you hear the word "apple?" Well, we are willing to bet that you're thinking about a red-looking fruit with a small stem at its top, right? This next fun plant looks quite different from the typical apple, which is why it's a pretty fun one to plant in your garden in Roblox GAG!

The Sugar Apple is a green-colored fruit that has multiple layers. What's interesting about this crop is that certain mutations can morph into a somewhat different fruit. For example, when the Sugar Apple is affected by the "Dawnbound" mutation, it turns purple, making it look like grapes instead of an apple.

If you want to retain its original color, but with some minor aesthetic flair, you can go for the "Chakra" mutation. The Chakra mutation is applied at random by the Kitsune. Since the Zen Event has come and gone, the Kitsune can no longer be obtained in Grow a Garden. Unless, of course, if you buy Kitsune from our store, that is!

3. Spiked Mango

Since we're on a topic about fun plants to grow in Grow a Garden, this next entry perfectly encapsulates the essence of a weird yet interesting fruit. We are talking about the Spiked Mango, which is best known for having spikes protruding in certain areas of its body.

Similar to the other plants before it, the Spiked Mango can have an even more special look when it is coated with the right mutations. The new "Fried" mutation gives the Spiked Mango a rather crispy look, accentuating its aesthetics even further.

The Fried mutation can be induced manually by using the new gear called Pet Shard Fried. This can be obtained as a random reward from completing quests from Chris P. Keep in mind that Chris P is an event NPC, so he may disappear at the conclusion of the Cooking Update.

Be that as it may, the Spiked Mango can be placed anywhere in your garden. Whether you put it at the sides for a more pleasing aesthetic or at the middle to make them more prominent, the Spiked Mango has no problems fitting right in!

2. Maple Apple

Remember the time when you were a kid and your mom would give you juice boxes that you could drink (and enjoy) in school? The Maple Apple has the same aesthetic, which reminds you of that sweet orange juice drink you used to love in your earlier days.

Having said that, the Maple Apple is boxy and relatively huge when you place it in your hand in Grow a Garden. Because of its size and shape, you can line up multiple Maple Apples to create a barrier, wall, or add some additional flair to your garden.

You can also employ the Corrupted Kitsune to apply the "Corrupted Chakra" crop mutation to the Maple Apple to give it that "shocking" exterior. Speaking of which, the "Shocked" mutation is not bad at all. In fact, it gives the Maple Apple that yellow glow that's akin to a shining gold bar!

What makes the Candy Blossom the best fun plant in GAG, in our opinion, is that both the tree and its produce can fit into any theme that involves joy and excitement. Do you want to create a garden with colorful plants? The Candy Blossom has no problems fitting in. How about a magical-themed garden with the Candy Blossom placed front and center? You can do that as well!

At the time of writing this guide, the Candy Blossom cannot be obtained in the game. Of course, you could buy Candy Blossom from our Grow a Garden Store if you want to add it to your garden, pronto!
