What Is The Adopt Me Halloween Event?

This event launched on Oct. 3, 2025 and will run until Nov. 1, 2025. The event is one of the most popular events in the game, mainly because of all the cool exclusive pets that are made available throughout its duration. In the past, the event introduced pets like the Bat Dragon, which is now one of the most expensive ones in the game.

As expected, the Halloween event introduces Halloween-themed decorations, obtainable rewards, and more. This time around however, there are also major changes made to the map including some for the entire Adoption Island.

If you want to partake in the events of this season, head to Patchy's Arcade and go to where the Playground usually is. You should see The Hauntlet minigame. This is where you can queue for the minigame, and it's also where you can get buy the exclusive rewards as well.

In case you're looking for The Playground, you can see it near the Pizza Shop where the Kitty Bat taming area is. You can also grab the Headless Horseman's Grab Bag while you're here.

If you check out the read bridge next to the Hospital, you can also buy Skelebats on display. If it's your first time jumping into the game since the event started, you can talk to Mayor Amanda and the Headless Horseman for a quick introduction.

Halloween Event Minigame Guide

For this event, you're going to have to collect an exclusive currency called Candy. You can get this by doing daily objectives and scoring on the minigames that are available in the game. Here's a quick guide to the minigames

Scale the Organ!

Throughout the event, your pets can get a unique ailment called Scale the Organ! If they're given this, make sure to visit and climb the organ keys near the hospital. This is going to be a challenging climb but it does get easier with practice to hang on.

If you're able to scale the organs successfully, a Phantom Dragon will appear and give you the option to buy it. You're given 20 Bucks and 100 Candy every time you beat this minigame. It might not sound much but it's actually good once you get the hang of doing the minigame.

Headless Horseman's Grab Bag

Every 10 minutes during the event, you can grab a free item from the Headless Horseman's bag. There isn't a lot of skill involved here and it's all about luck.

When grabbing an item, you have a 35% chance to get 250 Candy, a 25% chance to get 500 Candy, a 20% chance to get 750 Candy, and a 10% chance to receive 1000 Candy. If you're lucky, you can get a Yarn Apple with an 8% chance and a three Yarn Apples for a 2% chance.

The Yarn Apple is an item that's used for the Kitty Bat taming minigame which we'll talk about next. Each Yarn Apple gives a 5 to 10% taming progress increase.

Kitty Bat Taming

This is the second most important minigame is the Kitty Bat Taming minigame. At the 17th and 47th minute of every hour, Kitty Bats will spawn in the Playground and be there for three minutes.

While they're there, you can equip and use a Yarn Apple to start taming a Kitty Bat. Depends on how well you time the throw, you can gain somewhere between 5 to 10% taming progress. At 100%, you're going to get a Kitty Bat of your own. At the very least, you'll need a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 20 Yarn Apple to get a Kitty Bat.

The Hauntlet

Starting to when the event began, The Hauntlet was made available through the minigame queue in Patchy's Arcade.

To play the minigame, you'll need to make it through 100 doors without losing your health. Another way to lose would be to fail to pick a door within 20 seconds. You'll start with 4 hearts as health and two of those are non-refillable so when they're gone, they're gone for good during the session.

In each room, you must go through one of three doors. None of the doors in the first area are harmful as it's basically just a tutorial of what you need to do. From the second room onwards, one of those rooms is sure to have an enemy behind it. Choosing these doors will make you lose health. Each enemy damages your health differently:

  • Rooms 2-49 Ghosts - Damages you one heart
  • Rooms 50 and above Phantom Dragons - Damages you two hearts
  • Rooms 75-80 Patchy Bears - Damages you three hearts

Aside from monsters, you'll also encounter some items by going through doors. Each item does something different:

Beating the game for the first time will net you with the Made It Out Sticker. The reward for getting through door 80? A whopping 21,000 Candy and 2,000 Bucks.

Wear and Scare!

When week two began, the event introduced the Wear and Scare ailment. To get this, just walk around with your pet. Once your pet gets it, you'll be given 20 bucks and 100 candy. What's great is that if you're able to get a specific leash that the pet is requiring, you'll get a triple the Bucks and XP bonus when getting the reward.

Costume Party

The second week of the event also introduced a new minigame called Costume Party. You can access this in Patchy's Arcade. The goal is simple, within a 90-second time limit, dress your pet with pet accessories that are displayed inside the room.

This isn't a simple dress up game though. At the start, you'll be given a theme to follow which include: 67, Fairytale, Fancy Party, Funny, Funny Clowns, Gravedigger, Horrible, Nightmare, Scary, Scary Clowns, Survival, Trick or Treat, or Vampire. Once the time is up, you'll have the chance to cast your vote.

Players will be given a set amount of Candy depending on how high the place in the initial voting. Participation alone is 2,800 Candy already so it's worth doing.

Popped Candy Corn!

This special event launched this week. Similar to Wear and Scare, Popped Candy Corn is an ailment that you can give your pets. To get this, you'll need to jump on all lily pads in the swamp area. There are a total of six of these.

Completing the ailment will reward you with 20 Bucks and 100 Candy. Each lilypad rewards you with 10 Candy.

Sleep or Treat

Also this week is the new Sleep or Treat minigame that you can find in Patchy's Arcade. This event runs on a 15-20 minute recurring timer. The rounds for Sleep of Treat will last two to three minutes each.

The game is simple, you'll need to race around a residential map, knock on doors, collect candy, and then place it in a central pumpkin before a timer runs out. The map has a lot of obstacles, decorations, and even Easter eggs for you to spot.

While running around, you'll need to avoid DJ Snooze who'll put you to sleep if he touches you. You can run around and grab certain powerups in the map to make your journey easier. With that, here's a quick summary of the events in the game now:
