With that much power, you’re probably wondering what Paragon nodes you should allocate in order to maximize your farming potential.

If you are looking for some guidance on the best path to take for your character’s Paragon Board, then you are in the right place. Today, I am going to share with you the best routes for power farming for each class in Diablo IV Season 10!

Here at RPGStash, the doors to our D4 Store are always open for you. We offer a wide range of items, including various Chaos Armors that unlock the true potential of your Diablo IV build. After you read this article, go to our website and see what we have to offer.

Paragon Board Guide for D4: Best Power Farming Routes

When you reach level 50 in Diablo IV, you will have access to the Paragon Board. You have a total of 328 points to spend here; 300 of which can be earned through increasing your Paragon Level.

Because the EXP needed to reach Paragon Level 300 is exponential compared to PL 280, attaining the max level for your Paragon Board requires a ton of time and effort. Realistically, you can get anywhere between 260 and 275 Paragon as a casual player, and about 280 to 295 if you are a bit more inclined.

Since Paragon Boards are different for every class, I will talk about them one by one in each of the subsequent sections of this D4 guide. Without further delay, let’s begin with everyone’s favorite class in Diablo IV Season 10: the Sorcerer!

Sorcerer Paragon Board Best Route for Power Farming

The Ball Lightning Sorcerer is a very powerful build in D4 Season of Infernal Chaos. There are two variations of the build, but the clear winner here is the one that utilizes Okun’s Catalyst.

Okun’s Catalyst changes the behavior of Ball Lightning when equipped. Instead of firing a projectile that moves forward slowly, the resulting lightning projectiles now orbit your character, dealing damage to any monster that comes close.

Having said that, here are the boards and legendary nodes that this build uses:

  • Start/Tactician: Prioritizes magic nodes that boost non-physical damage to make the circling Ball Lightning projectiles more lethal. “Studied” and “Elemental Balance” provide huge increases in Intelligence and allow you to electrocute any and all monsters within range.
  • Ceaseless Conduit/Destruction: Crackling Energy is one of the spells that you should use liberally. This is to gain an increasing damage boost every time you have Crackling Energy charges. The Destruction Legendary Glyph, on the other hand, enhances your critical strike and critical strike damage, so it’s definitely a must-have.
  • Enchantment Master/Unleash: Here we have another damage boost thanks to Enchantment Master. Unleash is the perfect glyph to use here as it not only makes your Ball Lightning hit harder, but it also improves your mana regeneration considerably for a few seconds.
  • Frigid Fate/Elementalist: Wizard’s Blizzard is a one-point wonder on this build as it improves your mana regeneration rate, which is crucial to have Mana Shield up at all times. Frigid Fate just ensures that you still gain bonus damage, even if it is dependent on the amount of cold damage you deal. Elementalist perfectly ties into the playstyle of the build as it enables you to gain bonus damage just by harnessing your lightning and cold spells.
  • Searing Heat/Adept: In the latter stages of your progression, Searing Heat boosts your critical strike chance, so that you can take on the higher Pit Levels. Adept just makes it so that your Ball Lightning hits like a truck, which is particularly useful in Infernal Hordes and in your fight against Bartuc.

Rogue Paragon Board Best Route for Power Farming

If power farming is your thing, then the Death Trap Rogue build is one of the best out there. This particular build stacks cooldown reduction to lower the downtime of Death Trap up to a certain point. After that, you cast Preparation twice with the Beastfall Boots equipped so that your Death Trap’s damage skyrockets manifold!

The power of the Death Trap Rogue does not stop there! Enervated Strikes is a very powerful chaos perk that provides all-damage without any repercussions. Of course, you should allocate the following nodes on the Paragon Board to bring the best out of this Diablo IV build in Season 10:

  • Start/Versatility: In the first Paragon Board, most of the nodes you will be taking are attribute nodes that grant bonuses to Strength, Dexterity, and Intelligence. There are also some nodes that provide increases in damage, such as Skillful, Outlaw, and Prime. Versatility is the glyph of choice here, as it makes Death Trap become deadlier.
  • No Witnesses/Ambush: When you have the Legendary Node, No Witnesses, your Death Trap gains a damage boost that is then shared with your other damaging abilities. Ambush just primes your enemies for the kill, so that the next time Death Trap is laid down, it deals more damage.
  • Deadly Ambush/Explosive: At higher levels, your Death Trap’s chance to critically hit enemies increases exponentially. Therefore, you must take advantage of Deadly Ambush because it raises the critical strike damage of your Death Trap by 50%. Explosive is a defensive glyph more than anything. This provides a 15% reduction in damage taken when you drop a Stun Grenade.
  • Eldritch Bounty/Headhunter: Eldritch Bounty is a Legendary Node that straight-up improves the lethality of your Death Traps, so taking it is an obvious choice. In this Paragon Board, put the Headhunter glyph on the empty socket to deal more damage against elites.
  • Leyrana’s Instinct/Canny: Damage is no problem with the Death Trap Rogue build. However, it does get wrecked at higher Pit Levels. To avoid dying in Pit Level 100+, you take Leyrana’s Instinct to significantly increase your chance to dodge attacks. Canny is just there to ensure that your Death Traps kill everything in their way.

Druid Paragon Board Best Route for Power Farming

Whether you want to farm Infernal Hordes or push the highest levels of The Pit in Diablo IV Season 10, the Companion Druid is definitely one that you should use. Armed with the Kilt of Blackwing, this build soars to new heights by greatly improving the performance and lethality of the Ravens skill.

The Companion Druid also has another variant that maximizes the power of the Wolves. You must have Storm’s Companion to infuse your wolf companions with the power of lightning. You can never go wrong with this build in Season of the Infernal Chaos!

Having said that, here are the Paragon Boards that the Companion Druid uses to make sure that everything gets obliterated to oblivion:

  • Start/Headhunter: Your starting Paragon Board for this build mainly revolves around improving your attributes, life, and Willpower. At the center, put the Headhunter glyph into the socket to make your Ravens deal increased damage against elite monsters.
  • Untamed/Wilds: Untamed is a really nice Legendary Node in this particular Paragon Board because it provides a stacking damage increase (up to 80%). To complement that, you will use Wilds, which is a glyph that enhances the damage of your Raven companions, whether that is through their passive or active effect.
  • Thunderstruck/Earth and Sky: Cyclone Armor is your main defensive ability on this build, next to Grizzly Rage. That said, Thunderstruck enhances the damage portion of Cyclone Armor, making it somewhat potent against enemies in the lower Pit Levels. The Earth and Sky glyph does the same, albeit with the added condition that the damaged enemies are in a CC’ed or vulnerable state.
  • Heightened Malice/Spirit: In Season 10, you can use Purge the Infected to gain the ability to poison enemies with Pulverize. The resulting poison deals significant damage thanks to this chaos perk. Spirit just makes it so that the enemies you critically hit with your own attacks suffer from increased damage taken by up to 20 seconds!
  • Constricting Tendrils/Keeper: As you progress through Season 10, your chances of getting jumped by enemies increase exponentially. This is a good thing for the build, as it makes Cyclone Armor do its thing, damaging enemies when they hit you. That is why you allocate Sinister Tendrils so that those who are hit by the active portion of Cyclone Armor get poisoned. How about Keeper? This glyph is a straight-up damage boost for you and your companions.

Barbarian Paragon Board Best Route for Power Farming

The Whirlwind Barbarian is back with a vengeance in Diablo 4 Season 10. This time, the build no longer requires other attack skills to dish out damage, as Whirlwind is very capable of delivering the killing blow. Fans of this skill will love the fact that it has truly relived its “Spin to Win” status thanks to the chaos perks in Diablo IV: Season of Infernal Chaos.

Speaking of which, Deafening Chorus pretty much makes the effects of Rallying Cry, War Cry, and Challenging Shout last indefinitely. Power Siphon is what unlocks the power of Whirlwind, though you have to alleviate the escalating resource cost when spinning. The combination of Marred Guard and A Beast Cornered ensures that no enemy is left standing when you go past them with Whirlwind.

This build can make great use of a couple of unique items. For one, Gohr’s Devastating Grips grants Whirlwind the ability to explode on the enemies’ faces. Raise your critical strike chance for this “boomy” effect to occur more often.

Next is Battle Trance. Even though Battle Trance explicitly states that you gain increased damage and attack speed when having maximum stacks of Frenzy, you don’t actually use Frenzy on this build. You just have that with you by taking its upgrade, Combat Frenzy.

It’s time to go over the Paragon Boards used on the Whirlwind Barbarian. If you want to play this build, go for the following:

  • Start/Wrath: This build performs really well in all types of content in Diablo IV Season 10 because of its insanely high critical strike chance. You want to take advantage of that by using Wrath, which is a glyph that generates extra Fury while you’re spinning to win. The Fury generated this way can help address the rising resource costs associated with Power Siphon.
  • Blood Rage/Ire: Taking Blood Rage is a no-brainer for this build. The said legendary node provides a chance for you to go into a berserking state when you kill bleeding enemies. Plus, your damage is also increased when berserking is active. Ire take things up a notch defensively by providing a 10% damage reduction from elite monsters.
  • Weapons Master/Revenge: Power Siphon can really hurt your Fury reserves when using Whirlwind. To help you deal with that, you can allocate Weapons Master to gain a sizable portion of your Fury back when swapping weapons.
  • Carnage/Challenger: The fourth Paragon Board houses the Carnage legendary node. Since you are in Berserking state for most of the time, taking Carnage is a must to improve your attack speed and damage. Challenger is a no-frills approach to slaying elite monsters with heavy damage.
  • Flawless Technique/Undaunted: This is where the true fun begins with this build. Whirlwind puts you in a prolonged state of spinning, allowing you to hit nearby enemies multiple times in the process. Because of this, you’ll take Flawless Technique to further boost your critical strike chance, as well as your critical strike damage for several seconds. Undaunted is just there to improve your defense via increased damage reduction.

Necromancer Paragon Board Best Route for Power Farming

Do you want to play as the Necromancer in Season of Infernal Chaos? If so, I highly recommend that you give the Shadowblight Necromancer build a try. This is one of the builds that lets you push Pit Levels higher than 120.

The secret of the Shadowblight Necromancer is its ability to cause Shadowblight to proc by using Soulrift consistently. But isn't Soulrift an ultimate skill with a cooldown? You are correct! However, with the aid of the Alter the Balance unique perk, you can essentially spam Soulrift to your heart's content, making Shadowblight destroy everything in the process.

While this build can work efficiently without certain unique items, Fists of Fate does bring out the best in it in terms of overall damage output. With that said, here are the Paragon Boards that make the Shadowblight Necromancer a powerhouse:

  • Start/Essence: The first Paragon Board is your bog-standard affair of attribute and damage nodes. One thing stands out, though, and that is the use of the Essence glyph. This makes critical strikes (yes, Shadowblight can crit enemies) deal increased damage against enemies that are at or below 50% of their maximum life.
  • Scent of Death/Exploit: Can you have more crit damage? Why, of course! Scent of Death can help satisfy your craving for more crits. Plus, it has an added benefit of providing you with a 15% damage reduction. The glyph of choice for this Paragon Board is none other than Exploit, which increases the damage taken by monsters if they are in a vulnerable state.
  • Wither/Gravekeeper: The third Paragon Board is definitely something that you want to get into. Wither is plain awesome for this build because it grants a whopping 300% damage boost to Shadowblight. You pair that with the Gravekeeper glyph, and no enemy in the Infernal Hordes or Pit of the Artificer can withstand your presence!
  • Flesh-eater/Abyssal: With Corpse Explosion being a core part of your rotation on the Shadowblight Necromancer, it is only fitting to allocate the Flesh-eater legendary node for its 40% damage increase. Abyssal is nothing special. It's just there to give a small increase in damage.
  • Frailty/Imbiber: Since you will cast Decrepify to reduce the damage output of your enemies, Frailty becomes an incredible choice for your Paragon Board legendary node. It basically makes enemies take up to 40% increased damage while they are cursed. Imbiber is yet another damage booster that becomes active when you use your healing potion.

Spiritborn Paragon Board Best Route for Power Farming

For the most part, the Spiritborn is still a top contender in Diablo IV Season 10 as far as classes are concerned. Evade Spiritborn happens to be very competitive now, even more so with the addition of Chaos Perks and Chaos Armors.

Alacrity is a chaos perk that essentially lets you use Evade with virtually no cooldown. Of course, this is only possible when you have achieved a 42% total Evade cooldown reduction plus the said chaos perk.

To unlock this build's true potential, you want to get a Wushe Nak Pa (preferably as a chaos armor) for that massive boost in damage. You're also going to use the Eagle Main Hall for that Storm Feathers buff, which perfectly goes in line with what you are trying to achieve in this build.

Are you interested in playing the Evade Spiritborn in Season 10 of D4? If so, here are the Paragon Boards that you need:

  • Start/Talon: You want to make a beeline toward that glyph socket so that you can insert the Talon glyph. This thing makes your Thunderspike hurt more by improving its critical strike damage.
  • Viscous Shield/Jagged Plume: The Viscous Shield legendary node works synergistically with Marred Guard, providing a one-two combo of offense and defense via Barrier. Jagged Plume enhances this build's archetype by gaining an increase in both damage and movement speed when a Storm Feather spawns.
  • Convergence/Spirit: The legendary node, Convergence, sums up all your damage bonuses from your various damage types and combines them to make you a formidable killing machine. Spirit just adds to this by making enemies take more damage after you land a critical strike.
  • Sapping/Colossal: When you have your Evade cooldown reduction is spot on and you're Evade-weaving through enemies, you'll gain a consistent damage boost thanks to Sapping. To complement that, you're going to use the Colossal glyph, which boosts your damage for each stack of Resolve that you have.
  • Drive/Canny: The Evade Spiritborn boasts an incredibly high damage potential because of the many damage bonuses you can take advantage of. Drive, for example, provides a stackable damage increase after moving 10 meters. This can easily be done once you start using Evade quite often.

Diablo 4 Paragon Board Guide for Power Farming: Final Thoughts

The Paragon Board is such an important feature in Diablo IV because it helps you unlock your character's true potential. With five boards that you can use in total, with one to start with and four being attached to it as you progress through the game, they are such an incredible way to diversify your playstyle and tailor it to your liking.

Having said that, I have provided you with the best route for power farming in Diablo IV Season 10 in the images provided under each of the subsections for the different classes. Most of the nodes you take are attribute and damage nodes that lead up to the more impressive legendary nodes. If your character is too squishy, you can opt for more defensive nodes that improve your dodge chance, defense, life, and resistances.

Aside from the Paragon Board routes, I have also given you some of the builds that you should try in Season of Infernal Chaos. To recap, these are the builds that I recommend for each class:

  • Ball Lightning Sorcerer
  • Death Trap Rogue
  • Companion Druid
  • Whirlwind Barbarian
  • Shadowblight Necromancer
  • Evade Spiritborn
