Team of the Week Trading: Simple, Consistent Profit

One of the easiest ways to earn coins is through Team of the Week trading. Many players struggle with knowing when to buy or sell TOTW cards, so let's break down an example.

Recently, a batch of Ansu Fati TOTW cards was purchased for 16,000 coins, sometimes 16,500 coins at most. This was done long before his value rose because his potential for EVOs, plus chemistry links with the Pogba SBC, made him a likely candidate for a price spike.

That is exactly what happened. Ansu Fati is now selling for around 25,000 coins, meaning the profit margin sits at roughly 7,500 coins per card.

Tracking these rises is easy when using tools like Futbin, where price history shows a clear upward trend. Early in October, his price sat at around 14,000 coins, then rose to 16–17k with leaks, and eventually climbed even higher as evolutions made the card more desirable.

Why 85–86 Rated TOTW Cards Are Key

Another profitable angle is buying cheap 85- or 86-rated informs. For example, an 86-rated TOTW like Ruben Neves can often drop to 16,500 coins, which is extremely low for a high-rated TOTW.

These cards rise because:

• Hero SBCs
• Icon SBCs
• Popular player SBCs (Busquets, Alba, Pogba, etc.)

…all require informs, making higher-rated TOTWs especially valuable once demand hits.

It also helps to remember: once a TOTW week ends, those cards leave packs permanently, making them naturally rarer over time.

The Discard-Price TOTW Method (Low Risk, Great Returns)

If you don't have many coins, buying TOTWs at discard price is one of the safest strategies in the game.

Example:

• 81–82 rated TOTWs often appear for 9,900 coins.
• You can mass bid 9,800 coins.
• These cards discard for 9,760 coins.

Even if prices somehow never rise, the maximum loss per card is about 40 coins—basically nothing.

In reality, TOTWs consistently rise to 11–14k whenever a campaign player pick SBC or upgrade SBC releases. Suddenly, those discard-priced cards become easy profit.

The best way to do this:

1. Set max bid to 9,800.
2. Bid on as many TOTWs as possible.
3. Store them in your transfer targets until an SBC pumps their value.

Because bids placed this way don't take up your transfer list, you can keep trading while stockpiling TOTWs.

Moments Mode: Fast Coins Through Consumables

For those starting with very few coins, Moments Mode can generate quick profit.

Steps:

1. Go to Play → Play vs AI → Moments.
2. Earn stars by completing easy challenges.
3. Visit the Star Gallery.
4. Ignore the packs under “Essentials.”
5. Go to Seasonal and buy Rare Consumables Packs.

These packs guarantee high-value modifiers like:

• Shadows (≈ 5,000 coins)
