WoW: Fastest Way To Get Flightstones

744 0

One if the new features added to WoW Dragonflight are flightstones. These valuable items are used to upgrade a variety of gear in the game, which makes them very important for players. There are more than a few ways to get flightstones but there some that are faster and more efficient than others.

If you’re planning on maxing out your gear in the game, then it’s only a must that you know what these fastest methods are.

Dream Seeds

Starting with the Dream Seeds, this method is very effective, especially if you're looking to AFK farm or watch a show while you do it. You can gain flightstones without spending too much time actively playing. Personally, we like to use this method a lot, especially when we're not fully in the mood to play WoW but still want to gear up.

The most effective way to use Dream Seeds is to pair them with an add-on called Plumber. This add-on will show you currently active Dream Seeds, their progress, and how much time is left on them, making this method excellent for gathering flightstones. Depending on how many seeds you contribute and the progress they make out of 100, you can acquire more flightstones. For example, we were able to acquire 20 flightstones from two seeds and 10 from another. As long as you're flying around using this add-on and checking the progress, you should be able to max out your flightstones in no time.

Raids

The second way to gather flightstones is through raids, which most of you are probably already doing. Whether you're going through LFR, normal mode, or heroic, you can acquire a ton of flightstones. However, this method is a bit more involved since you need to focus on completing the raid. You can only get the flightstones from the boss once per week. After completing all the bosses, you're looking at getting around 380 flightstones, which is still a good amount, though it takes a bit longer than flying around idly.

Reputation

If you have your reputation maxed out, you can farm reputation insignias that will be ready to turn in during Season 4. The Dream Warden weekly rewards provide 200 to 300 flightstones as well. You can farm these the week before and turn them in during Season 4, and you can also start farming reputation insignias now.

World Boss

Each week, there will be a boss that is "awakened," which means that the raid associated with that boss will also be at Season 4 standards. The awakened boss drops 200 flightstones, while the non-awakened world boss drops 70 flightstones.

Weekly Events

The new weekly quest that replaced "Aiding the Accord" in Waking Shores is called "The Last Hurrah," where you complete three events that rotate each week. Not only do you get flightstones by completing those tasks, but you also receive 100 flightstones for turning in the weekly quest. Additionally, the Fyrakk boss gives you 70 flightstones when you kill him once a week.

Super Bloom Event

This event rewards flightstones with each bag you receive during the event, with a total of three bags available. You also earn flightstones by killing the elite boss at the end of the event. In total, you can get around 60 flightstones each time you participate in this event.

Fillers

  • Dungeons: Completing a heroic dungeon rewards you with 52 flightstones. The same amount is given for completing a mythic dungeon, with an additional 25 flightstones if someone in your group has gained Mythic+ rating from that dungeon as a bonus.

  • Seeds in Emerald Dream: It's all about nurturing. If you help nurture the seed to 100% (the full bar), you receive an Epic bag that rewards 15 flightstones. If you nurture it halfway, you get 10 flightstones, and if you only help a little, you get five flightstones. This serves as a good outdoor filler activity.

Additional Tip

Remember when we mentioned that "Aiding the Accord" is being replaced by a new weekly quest, "The Last Hurrah"? If you complete "Aiding the Accord" the week before Season 4 goes live and turn it in once the season is live, you'll get flightstones and awakened welling quests as a bonus. The best part is that you’ll still be able to complete the new weekly quest as well.
