Now that Valentine’s Day has come and gone, you are probably wondering what events you can still do in Adopt Me today. Well, there are actually several limited-time pets and items that you can acquire right now, so if you want to know what they are, I invite you to read through this article till the very end.
In this article, I will talk about some ongoing events in Adopt Me, where you will have a chance of getting some exclusive stuff. I am going to go over some objectives, the rewards you can get, and some handy tips in the end.
If you do not have the time to spend on getting these Valentine’s Day-themed pets and items yourself, simply go to our Adopt Me Pet Store and buy them at very low prices!
Current Event Objectives
You only have a few days to finish some Valentine’s Day objectives before the game receives an update, which marks a new era for Adopt Me. Before that happens, I highly recommend that you log into the game now and do the following:
Valentine’s Heartbreak Event

The Valentine’s Heartbreak event for Adopt Me is still ongoing. If you are not familiar with this one, this event will have you retrieve hearts whenever the huge crystal heart (seen in the image) breaks. This occurs roughly four times an hour, so you have plenty of time to do it if you’ve missed one for some reason.
Anyway, participating in this event rewards you with Bucks, which you can use to buy some Valentine’s Day items, including the Cherub Chipmunk, the Cherub Staff Throw, and the Heart Tiara, among others. You can read our Guide in the RPGStash Blog for more information about this.
Lunar New Year Event 2026

To celebrate the Year of the Fire Horse, developer Uplift Games brought us another event. This time, you have a chance of adopting three pets that are fit for the occasion. Here are the juiciest details you need to know about these pets:
| Name | Type | Chance | Rarity | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fire Foal | Pet | 76% | Ultra Rare | -Despite its rarity, the Fire Foal is actually one of the most common pets you can get from this event. |
| Fire Stallion | Pet | 20% | Legendary | -A relatively rare yet still accessible, the Fire Stallion is a cutesy pony that has yellow accents and an orange flame (for its hair). |
| Fire Mare | Pet | 4% | Legendary | -The rarest of the three pets from this event, the Fire Mare looks otherworldly and majestic. |

If you want to obtain these limited-time pets, you must purchase the Fire Horse Apple. It can be found on a small pedestal situated at the left-hand side of the screen if you are facing the horses in the event area. You can buy a Fire Horse Apple for about 2,026 Bucks.

Both the Valentine’s Heartbreak and Lunar New Year 2026 events in Adopt Me can be found in Adoption Island, so be sure to teleport to the said area after logging in.
Valentine’s 2026 Event Tips
Do you want to increase your chances of receiving the limited-time pets and items that are up for grabs in these Valentine’s Day and Lunar New Year events in Adopt Me? If so, here are some tips to help you:
- Join the ‘Heartbreak’ Event Often: The incentive of repairing the Crystal Heart every time it breaks is that it helps you generate a substantial amount of Bucks. Depending on how many hearts you retrieve, you can earn anywhere between 450 and 490 Bucks per run. You will need to do this often because the Fire Horse Apple is a bit on the expensive side, especially if you want to get all three horses.
- Open Apples One After Another: Some people claim that you have a much better chance of obtaining the Fire Mare if you open the Fire Horse Apple one after another. This means that you should buy the said apples in bulk. In my opinion, having 10 apples at a time is doable even if you just play Adopt Me casually.
- Stack Hyperspeed Potions: You get Bucks every time you successfully retrieve and return hearts during the Valentine’s Heartbreak activity. To ensure that you get the most out of this event, I highly recommend that you stack multiple Hyperspeed Potions to get a huge boost in your movement speed. If you have the Grappling Hook, then that is much better in helping you move around Adoption Island.
- Stand Close to the Heart: When the Crystal Heart is repaired, it will begin pulsing every three seconds or so. The pulsing heart lasts for a couple of minutes, and you earn 10 Bucks per pulse. That said, I see a lot of people not getting their Bucks because they are too far away from the heart. Don’t make the same mistake and move as close to the heart as possible.
What Comes Next After the Valentine’s Day Events in Adopt Me?
The Valentine’s Day events mentioned earlier will last until Friday, February 20. Uplift Games is set to release a new update shortly after, which brings major improvements to the game, particularly for the Pet Releaser.
For those who are new to Adopt Me, the Pet Releaser is a machine that allows you to completely surrender and remove a pet from your inventory. For every pet that you release this way, you will receive points depending on the rarity of the pet, as well as its condition (if it received Fly Potions and whatnot).
One of the things that will change with the said feature is that using the Pet Releaser is immediate, which means that you no longer have to wait seven minutes for the process to complete. Because of this change, you now have to think really well about the pets that you’ll be releasing. This is because the process is irreversible, so if you somehow release a pet accidentally, there is no going back from that.
In addition, you are going to receive a new currency called “Tickets,” effectively replacing the points system. Any unused points that you have prior to the update will automatically be changed into the same amount of Tickets once the update drops this Friday.
So, why did the company shift from points to Tickets? Well, it’s mainly for accessibility more than anything. When you hear the word “Ticket,” you will easily understand that it’s something that can be used as currency.
Speaking of which, the Tickets will be used as the primary currency for buying the Basic Egg (400 Tickets) and the Crystal Egg (4,000 Tickets) once the update drops soon. Besides that, the company is adding new items to spend your Tickets on, including new pets! The headlining pet for the February 20 Update is the Dire Wolf, which you can get by spending 3,000 Tickets.
The company also stated that the Giant Panda will be leaving the Pet Releaser after the patch is released this Friday. It is going to be replaced by a mystery pet, which will be announced next week, so stay tuned to RPGStash for that information once we catch wind of it! Get the Giant Panda while you still can!
