Diablo 4 , Game Guides

Diablo 4 uniques are items that you can equip that carry immense power, so much so that certain D4 builds cannot function without them. Unlike legendaries, unique items contain a special power that you cannot find anywhere else.
That said, in the recent major updates, Blizzard has changed unique items a lot since the game’s inception. Each unique now has a couple of fixed affixes with two open affixes that can be anything useful or useless for your current build.
This article serves as your definitive list of all unique items found in Diablo 4 at the time of writing.
What Are Unique Items in Diablo 4?
Unique items in Diablo 4 are items that have unique powers that you cannot find anywhere else in the game. One good example of this is the Endurant Faith, which is a good defensive option for many D4 builds because it staggers the damage that would have otherwise killed you in one blow.

There are also build-defining uniques that certain Diablo 4 builds need in order to work as intended. For example, the Storm Shred Druid deals mediocre damage until it equips Ifeh’s Dire Totem, which makes Grizzly Rage usable while in Werewolf Form, and grants huge boosts to critical strike damage, poisoning damage, and spirit cost reduction.

Best D4 Unique Items to Farm First
Now that you know all Diablo 4 uniques, which do you think are worth farming? Here is what RPGStash recommends:
- Crown of Lucion: The Crown of Lucion is awesome for builds that consume a lot of their primary resource. This is often used by players who want to push the highest Pit/Tower Levels, so you may want to farm for this unique helmet as soon as possible. Although it is nerfed a bit in the most recent update, it is still worth getting.
- Gohr’s Devastating Grips: A prime unique item for the Whirlwind Barbarian, Gohr’s Devastating Grips now rolls ranks to Whirlwind, guaranteed. If you want to take things up a notch, roll one that has critical strike chance and vulnerable damage multiplier.
- Endurant Faith: Strong choice for improving survivability, especially in the endgame. Endurant Faith helps you survive at Pit Levels above 100. If your build requires a specific pair of gloves to function, then turn Endurant Faith into a unique talisman and use it like that instead.
- Azurewrath: The Azurewrath is an awesome unique item to invest in, especially if your build can freeze enemies somehow. Azurewrath makes frozen enemies explode, which can greatly improve clear speed.
- Temerity: Another good unique item for defense, Temerity provides a barrier equal to your maximum life for 8 seconds. You’d want to have the “Life on Hit” affix on one of your items so that you don’t have to drink potions just to have the barrier up and running.
- Banished Lord’s Talisman: Despite its nerf in the most recent update, Banished Lord’s Talisman is still good at offering a sizable damage boost. It grants 4 stacks of Overpower after spending your primary resource, and you get a 10% increase in damage based on the number of stacks of Overpower that you have.
- Signet of Pelghain: Although this ring now only works for cold damage, the Signet of Pelghain is still quite powerful in Diablo 4. Freezing an enemy with this ring equipped makes them take up to 15% increased cold damage for every second they are frozen. This is great when you play a cold-based Rogue or Sorcerer build.
D4 Uniques vs. Mythic Items
Blizzard has fundamentally changed Mythic Items in Diablo 4. Back then, a Mythic Item was a class of its own because it not only contained a fixed set of affixes, but each affix was rolled to its maximum as well. More importantly, each Mythic Item in the game has unique powers so incredible that it’s not surprising that they are often included in the best endgame builds in Diablo 4.
Having said that, things have changed a bit in D4 in the most recent update, where “Mythic” is now an item quality rather than an actual item. Every unique item in the game can now be “upgraded” to Mythic using the Horadric Cube. If you do so, that item will have all of its affixes get their maximum rolls and have its unique power improved by 30%. To signify this, the Mythic Unique Item in Diablo 4 gets its own purple border as well.

So, what happened to the Mythic Uniques of old? Well, they are still actually in the game, but they are now referred to as “Iconic Mythics.” These are:
| Helmets | Chest Armor | Weapon | Amulet | Rings |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| -Harlequin Crest -Andariel’s Visage -Heir of Perdition | -Tyrael’s Might -Shroud of False Death | -Doombringer -The Grandfather -Ahavarion, Spear of Lycander -El’druin, Sword of Justice -Shattered Vow -Nesekem, the Herald | -Melted Heart of Selig | -Ring of Starless Skies |
You can still get the Iconic Mythic Uniques in Diablo 4 as a random loot or as a crafted item. Be warned, though, that crafting an Iconic Mythic Item only limits you to wearing only one on your character, so you still need to do some farming if you want to equip more than that.
FAQ
What Are Unique Items in Diablo 4?
Unique items are called as such because they all have unique powers that can’t be obtained anywhere else. They have that brown-colored border, which signifies that an item is a Diablo 4 unique.
Are Mythic Uniques Still in Diablo 4?
Yes, but there is now an important distinction that has to be made. The Mythic Unique Items of old, such as the Heir of Perdition, Ring of Starless Skies, and The Grandfather, are now called “Iconic Mythic Uniques.” This is because all unique items in the game can now be “upgraded to Mythic” via the Horadric Cube, with improved stats and unique powers.
Can Unique Items Be Target-Farmed in Diablo 4?
Some of the Diablo 4 uniques can be target-farmed by killing specific bosses, though there are those that only drop as random loot.
