Blox Fruits , Roblox
There are quite a few ways to go about combat in Blox Fruits. Some people prefer using swords and guns. Some heavily rely on Blox Fruits (and we can’t blame them as these are powerful). But for others, they prefer using Fighting Styles instead. There are 10 Fighting Styles in the game and each comes with their own pros and cons.
On this guide, we’ll be showing you all of the 10 Fighting Styles, where to get them, and how to put them to good use.
Combat
This is the default fighting style in the game and it’s unlocked for everyone automatically. As you may have guessed, this is the weakest fighting style in the game given that it has very low damage. Combat isn’t advantageous over any other fighting style in the game and is merely there to make sure that you have a means to defend yourself early on.
Pros
No effort is needed to unlock and use.
Has good combo potential due to the simplicity of setup.
Can knockback opponents slightly despite being relatively basic.
Cons
Has the weakest damage potential out of all fighting styles.
You’ll need to get into extremely close range to put skills to good use.
Has low mobility compared to other fighting styles.
Dark Step
It might sound like it but the Dark Step isn’t about dodging enemy attacks. This special fighting style is centered on using your legs and feet to deal damage to the enemies. To get it, you’ll need to buy it from the Dark Step Teacher for $150,000. The NPC can be found in the Pirate Village on the First Sea. Aside from that area, you can also find the teacher in the Hot and Cold located in the Season Sea. He’ll be in the Lave area.
The last place you can encounter the teacher is on the Castle on the Sea in the Third Sea. The price of the fighting style is the same regardless of where you find the NPC.
Pros
Aside from Combat, this is the cheapest fighting style in the game and it best for beginners.
Most players use it to farm in the First Sea as it’s easy to use and all of the attacks it has deal damage in an area.
Can be mastered pretty quickly.
Cons
Has the slowest click speed in the game - even slower than Combat.
Due to it being slow, it’s not recommended for use in PvP, especially against players that use Fruits.
Set aside from Combat, this has the lowest damage out of all Fighting Styles as well.
Dark Step
In time, you can get the upgraded version of this called the Death Step. Like most V2s, the Death Step has some steep requirements before you can unlock it. But first, you can find the style’s teacher in the Ice Castle on the Second Sea. Here’s what you’ll need:
5,000 Fragments
$2,500,000
Mastery of 400+ on Dark Step.
Library Key - acquired from Awakened Ice Admiral. This key is required to get to Phoeyu.
Pros
Great combo potential, damage, and range, making it perfect for PvP and bounty hunting.
Moves are very fast-paced and hard to counter.
One of the cheapest V2 fighting styles to get.
Cons
Requires getting close to enemies that are at a distance.
Dark Step can be hard to master.
Electric
To get this, you’ll need to raise $500,000 and buy it from the Mad Scientist on the Skylands located in the First Sea. You can find the NPC behind rocks on the lower level of the area. It’s a little more expensive than Dark Step but it’s also significantly better. It can be used for both farming and PvP.
Pros
Has an average click speed and is definitely faster than Dark Step.
A good step up from Dark Step but is a fairly decent first choice as well if you want to skip Dark Step.
One of the cheapest fighting styles that will let you deal damage from all attacks against Sea Beast.
Cons
Ineffective against Rubber Fruit users.
Damage is good but is still beaten by many other fighting styles.
Attacks are all ground-based making it less versatile than other styles.
Electric Claw
One of the first fighting styles you’ll come across with on the Third Sea. You can find the teacher of this style in the Floating Turtle location. He is located close to Longma - a boss that’s found under many arches on the island. To use it, make sure you have the following:
400+ Master on Electric.
$3,000,000
5,000 Fragments
Completion of short quest
The short quest is given by Previous Hero and will required you to get to a Mansion in 30 seconds. The easiest way to do this is to set the Mansion as your spawn point and then use the home button to teleport their instantly. This method still works as of this update.
Pros
Thanks to the teleporting hack, the quest for it is actually very easy.
High damage, mobility, and combo potential.
All moves can hit multiple targets at once. It can also be used against Sea Beast.
Cons
Can be relatively weak when used against enemies that are always in the air.
Water Kung Fu
Head to the Underwater City are in the First Sea and look for the Water Kung Fu Teacher. If you missed him there, you can go to the hot side in the Hot and Cold area deep into the Second Sea. Lastly, the NPC can be found around the Portals in the Third Sea as well but this area can be dangerous. It’s the most expensive Fighting Style in the First Sea at a price of $750,000.
Pros
Well-balanced damage, range, and hitbox making it excellent for PvP.
The moves deal damage in an area and they don’t knockback enemies, making it perfect for farming runs.
Can be used effectively against Sea Beast.
Cons
Can be hard to master as most moves benefit from telegraphing the moves of your opponent.
Due to price and setbacks, it might not be the best fighting style in the First Sea.
All attacks are close-ranged.
Sharkman Karate
This is the V2 of the Water Kung Fu and it requires a few things as well. To get to the NPC that teaches it, simply go to the Forgotten Island on the Second Sea. You’ll need the following to learn the fighting style:
$2,500,000
5,000 Fragment Icon
Master of 400+ on Water Kung Fu
Water Key - you can get this after beating the Tide Keeper.
Pros
Very high damage and combo potential.
The moves are fast and can be near impossible to counter during PvP.
Its great range make it hard for players to get away from those using this style.
All of its moves deal damage to an area so it’s perfect for farming.
Cons
It can be hard to hit enemies unless they are near from you so it requires a bit of mobility and distance management.
Rather expensive despite being found in the Second Sea only so earning the resources for it can be challenging.
Dragon Breath
The Dragon Breath fighting style is likely the first one you’ll find that requires Fragments to purchase. It’s also the first fighting style you can find in the Second Sea.
To find Sabi, head to the Red Bridge at the Kingdom of Rose. Sabi should be at the last arch. If you missed him there, you can find him at the Castle in the Sea on the Third Sea. The Dragon Breath fighting style requires 1,500 Fragments.
Pros
1,500 Fragments are very hard to find but this is actually the cheapest of all Fighting Style you can purchase with this currency.
Great damage and range, as well as come decent hitboxes making it a decent fighting style overall.
While not all moves are AoE, most of them can hit multiple targets.
Cons
Has a short-range and slow attacks, making it bad against ranged weapons.
Has strong knockback which is good for PvP but bad for farming.
Hard to control as there’s always a dash at the fourth time you click.
Dragon Talon
Uzoth is located on a high-level area on the Third Sea called the Haunted Castle. While here, you’ll need to talk to the Death King first for a chance of getting a Fire Essence from a Random Surprise. You can talk to him at least 10 times for every 2 hours. Each of the Surprise costs 50 Bones. Once done, bring the Fire Essence to Uzoth, along with the following:
400+ mastery on Dragon Breath
$3,000,000
5,000 Fragments.
Pros
While getting Fire Essence can be annoying, it’s actually relatively easy compared to the requirements of other V2s.
High damage and easy to use.
Hitboxes are great.
Cons
There’s end lag on all moves.
The moveset lacks mobility.
Very high knockback, making it one of the worst for farming.
Superhuman
The Martial Arts Master that teaches this fighting style can be found in an open area on the Snow Mountain in the Second Sea. However, the requirements are pretty steep for this. Aside from a whopping $3,000,000. You also need 300+ master on the following skills:
Dark Step
Electric
Water Kung Fu
Dragon Breath
Pros
Has the best high combo potential of all the fighting styles.
There are movies that can easily engage or disengage with the enemy, making it excellent in many scenarios.
Knockback is good but not as powerful as Dragon Breath.
Has great damage.
Perfect for Raids as its Z move can actually stun the boss. This gives allies the opportunity to hit back.
Cons
While it doesn’t have Fragment requirements compared to other V2 fighting styles, mastering the other styles for this can be time consuming.
One of the worst options against the Sea Beast as a glitch causes all attacks to deal no damage.
Some players to get the V2 of other fighting styles because it’s easier to get them and those styles can be used for PvP and various other content in the game.
Godhuman
The Ancient Monk is located in the Floating Turtle Island. There’s an opening around the tree which you need to interact with to find him. To learn Godhuman, you must have the following:
40+ master on all fighting styles with the exception of Sanguine Art and Combat.
$5,000,000
5,000 Fragments.
10 Dragon Scale
20 Fish Tail
10 Mystic Droplet
20 Magma Ore
Pros
Moves are nearly impossible to miss at close range.
High damage, stun, and combo potential.
Cons
Requires high mastery on all fighting styles.
Not ideal for Sea events as all moves deal no damage.
Sanguine Art
Aside from Combat, this is the only fighting style in the game that doesn’t have an upgraded version. You can find Shafi in a small area that links the Tiki Outpost to the Island Boys. You’ll need to talk to him three times and each time, he’ll ask for something different.
First is a Leviathan Heart. You can get this simply by sitting on a boat and using a harpoon on the leviathan. It’s possible to get a heart without joining the fight.
Next, bring the following to Shafi: 20 Demonic Wisps, 20 Vampire Fangs, 2 Dark Fragments.
Last but not least, give him $5,000,000 and 5,000 Fragments.
Pros
Has a great range and lifestyle so it’s perfect for all sorts of events.
Great combo potential.
Cons
Poor mobility.
Leviathan heart is actually hard to get.
