The Spiritborn is still one of the best classes in Diablo 4 Season 11. This is despite the addition of a new class that wields the spear of the Heavens to destroy the minions of Hell.

Anyway, if you are going to play Spiritborn in Season 11, then you might want to read further. For today, I am going to highlight the best Spiritborn Builds in the Season of Divine Intervention so that you’ll have an idea of which one to run.

Season 11 of Diablo 4 is filled with many dangers. Even a budding Spiritborn would require some assistance with regard to gearing and such. So, if you want to maximize your character’s potential, visit our D4 Store to get all the Diablo 4 Items you need!

How Spiritborn Builds Work in Diablo 4 Season 11

So, how does the Spiritborn perform in Diablo 4: Season of Divine Intervention? Well, in terms of mechanics, the Spiritborn has remained largely the same as the previous season, albeit without the chaos armors.

To get some of that power back somehow, the Spiritborn relies on the new equipment that is possible with the help of the new Sanctification Gear System in Season 11. Basically, this system unlocks the full potential of a piece of armor, weapon, or jewelry, and is the final phase that those items can undergo. This means that they can no longer be upgraded or modified even further, thus marking the end of their upgrade journey.

Having said that, I will provide you with the best Spiritborn builds in Diablo 4 Season 11 in the next sections. You can skip to the ones that you like by clicking on the appropriate build that you want to know more about.

Best Spiritborn Builds in Diablo 4 Season 11

Crushing Hand Spiritborn

Crushing Hand Spiritborn build overview in Diablo 4 Season 11

If you like pounding enemies to a pulp, then you will love the Crushing Hand Spiritborn. As the name of the build implies, the Crushing Hand skill is the star of the show. When used, it prompts the Spiritborn to slam the ground with so much force that it creates two shockwaves that can overlap with each other.

Because of how the skill works, you can use Crushing Hand on a boss or strong enemy, and it will take care of the rest when there are nearby minions.

Despite being a Gorilla core skill, you will actually choose the Jaguar Spirit Hall as your primary Spirit Hall. This is so that you can unleash a “Beat Strike,” which occurs every 15th hit or direct damage to your enemies.

While the Crushing Hand Spiritborn does not require any unique items to pull off, it certainly performs better when you have some specific pieces of gear. The new Path of the Emissary unique boots, for example, cast Rake automatically just by moving about. This is because you have the Jaguar Primary Hall, as mentioned earlier.

On top of that, the Rod of Kepeleke is another major item worth investing in. With this equipped, Crushing Hand becomes free to cast, and lands a guaranteed critical strike when you use it at maximum Vigor.

If you are feeling lucky, sanctify the Rod of Kepeleke and hope that you get the affix that provides a chance to stun distant enemies for two seconds, increasing your damage against them by up to 70% in the process.

The Crushing Hand Spiritborn may not be as fast as the other Spiritborn builds on this list, but it is definitely worthy of your attention, especially if you want to push the higher Pit Levels.

Rake Spiritborn

Rake Spiritborn build in Diablo 4 Season 11

What I love about the Spiritborn class in Diablo 4 is that the Spirit Hall you use can heavily influence the skills needed for a build to prosper. The Rake Spiritborn highlights this fact very well because you’re setting your Primary Spirit Hall to Gorilla, yet you use Rake as your main damaging ability, which is naturally a Jaguar skill.

Anyway, the way the Rake Spiritborn works is it kills enemies based on your Thorns damage. This is why taking the Gorilla Spirit Hall is key, as it not only turns Rake into a Gorilla skill, but also deals damage equal to 600% of your Thorns.

Having said that, use Rake to strike your enemies and deal a ton of damage. Ravager is there to gain some additional damage. Choose different enhancements for the Ravager, depending on what type of content you are doing in the game.

For speedfarming Nightmare Dungeons and Helltides, I suggest that you go for the “Measured Ravager” upgrade to give you a quick dash towards the enemy, while increasing your Vigor generation by a considerable amount. Conversely, choose the Replenishing Ravager for Pit Pushing.

To truly get the most out of the Rake Spiritborn, you have to get a couple of things. The first is Balazan’s Maxtlatl, which adds a damage-over-time component to your attacks (using Rake). The second is Wushe Nak Pa. Get a Wushe Nak Pa that is as close to its max roll as possible for that full 300% increased potency of your Gorilla Spirit Hall.

Although Hesha E Kesungi makes a return here to improve your damage output, what you are really after is its possible sanctified affix, where close enemies are slowed down significantly, and take increased damage from you while they’re affected by slow.

The Rake Spiritborn uses Thorns damage to defeat its enemies, though it does only get better when specific pieces of gear are equipped.

Quill Volley Spiritborn

Quill Volley Spiritborn build in Diablo 4 Season 11

The Quill Volley Spiritborn has been a top-tier build in Diablo 4 for a few seasons now, and it seems to still be the case in Season of Divine Intervention. Quill Volley, for those who don’t know, is an Eagle Core Skill that allows you to hurl several feathers that pierce through monsters, dealing 20% of damage to each one.

In order for this build to deal damage with that, you set your Primary Spirit Hall to Gorilla and your Secondary Spirit Hall to Jaguar to grant additional bonuses to damage, as well as generate a Barrier that can protect you at higher levels.

For the build’s skill rotation, you only have to worry about Quill Volley when fighting enemies, while keeping both Ravager and Armored Hide up at all times. Cast The Protector when you’re in a bind, and equip the Hesha E Kesungi to pull enemies in towards you, making them easier to slay with a follow-up Quill Volley.

The Harmony of Ebewaka is a nice upgrade, so I highly recommend that you obtain one as soon as you can. This effectively provides a huge damage boost when equipped; no ifs, no buts. If you’re going to play as the Quill Volley Spiritborn, getting a good sanctified affix on the Harmony of Ebewaka is a must. The one that increases your armor for several seconds when you deal damage is best-in-slot, though any complementary affixes should be fine.

After getting Harmony of Ebewaka, hunt for a Rod of Kepeleke and the Ring of the Midnight Sun. With these items equipped, you want to have max Vigor at all times. The Ring of the Midnight Sun helps with that, as it gives some Vigor back when you critically hit an enemy with Quill Volley. You can even sanctify the said ring for a chance at acquiring the affix that increases your damage after casting an ultimate skill.

While not as tanky as the Rake build highlighted earlier, the Quill Volley Spiritborn is amazing at everything else in Diablo 4 Season 11. You can even take it to The Tower when it drops sometime in January!

Beast Strike Spiritborn

Beast Strike Spiritborn build in Diablo 4 Season 11

This next Spiritborn build in Diablo 4 Season 11 that we’re going to talk about combines some aspects of the two previous builds that were mentioned. The Beast Strike Spiritborn utilizes the Jaguar Primary and Secondary Spirit Halls to unleash devastating attacks against enemies. Some even say that this is the “Beastborn” build because of how you can quickly tear enemies to pieces with this one!

So, what makes the Beastborn tick? If you recall, setting the Jaguar Spirit as your Primary Spirit Hall allows you to unleash a powerful attack every 15th strike. Putting the Jaguar Spirit as the Secondary Spirit Hall raises your Ferocity limit by two (for a total of six stacks, resulting in a 30% increase in attack speed). With all of these things combined, you have a powerhouse of a build that can destroy even Pit Level 110 or higher with the right gear!

Speaking of which, the build can really tear things apart when the Wushe Nak Pa is equipped. Cast The Hunter whenever you encounter the boss, and watch as their HP dwindles noticeably as the hits come piling in!

Interestingly, the Beast Strike Spiritborn actually uses Quill Volley as opposed to Rake when defeating enemies. This is because it helps you unlock Beast Strike more quickly due to the number of feathers you throw at a time. Being in a huge group of monsters makes it easier for you to achieve this, so positioning is key to getting the maximum benefit.

Don’t forget to put the Rebounding Aspect on your gloves as well. This legendary aspect makes Quill Volley’s projectiles explode at the height of their movement, and then they will return to you shortly after (essentially dealing damage twice).

The Beast Strike Spiritborn gets even crazier when you’re able to hit the following legendary aspects through the Sanctification Gear System:

  • Aspect of Retribution: Deal increased damage against stunned enemies.
  • Aspect of Vehement Brawler: Casting an ultimate skill increases your damage by up to 30%.
  • Accelerating Aspect: Critical strikes with Core Skills increase your attack speed by up to 30%.

With all of those things working together, you have a Spiritborn build in Diablo 4 Season 11 that is truly befitting its name, the Beastborn!

Evade Spiritborn

Evade Spiritborn build in Diablo 4 Season 11

After dominating the charts for several seasons now, you would think that Blizzard would nerf the Evade Spiritborn build to the ground in Season 11. Fortunately, that has not happened at all! If anything, it’s gotten even better thanks to the new Sanctification Gear System!

If you’re going to push the highest Pit Levels (and The Tower once it releases next year), then you’d want to get a sanctified affix that increases lightning damage. This is because the Storm Feathers generated by evading deal lightning damage, so it makes sense to scale that damage type as high as you possibly can.

The core principle of the Evade Spiritborn remains largely the same. You still need to set your Primary and Secondary Spirit Halls to Eagle for the ability to strike with Storm Feathers while evading, as well as being able to land guaranteed critical strikes in every other cast, respectively.

It is also important to note that you need to have the Thunderspike skill in your skill bar, which is also empowered by the Accelerated Thunderspike upgrade. Make sure that you have at least 59% cooldown reduction. You can get CDR from the gloves and rings.

At the time of writing, we still do not know how challenging The Tower will be. However, since it has a few more floors than The Pit, we can assume that it is going to be difficult.

That said, I highly recommend that you buy the Loyalty’s Mantle as your first upgrade. This is because the Loyalty’s Mantle increases the potency of the Eagle Spirit Hall by 100%.

Temerity is another awesome upgrade. This unique pair of pants not only increases the potency of your healing potions, but it also grants a powerful barrier based on a portion of your life. Don’t forget to sanctify it for a chance of obtaining that increased lightning damage affix.

If you ask me what the best Spiritborn build is in Diablo 4 Season 11, I would say the Evade Spiritborn in a heartbeat! It beats all of the content in the game with ease, and it does so while “Evade-weaving” through enemies, making it one of the fastest builds as well!
