How To Get A Tribal Mask And Broodoo Shield - OSRS Trailblazer Reloaded

Are you focused on doing the Trailblazer Reloaded tasks in OSRS right now? If you are, then you're probably bound to come across the task where you need to create a matching Tribal Mask and Broodoo Shield. Doing this rewards you with 40 points but as expected, this task is a lot easier said than done.

Both masks come in three variants - combat, disease, and poison. For the task, you'll need to equip a mask and a shield of the same variant. To make this task easier to come by, we're going to detail how you can get both of these items in two sections.

How To Get A Tribal Mask

As a member, you have access to Tribal masks, also known as broodoo masks, which are worn in the headwear slot and offer no bonuses.

You can obtain these masks by either defeating a broodoo victim during the Tai Bwo Wannai Cleanup minigame or purchasing them from the Grand Exchange or another player.

Although these masks are purely for cosmetic purposes, it's important to note that if you attempt to speak with villagers in Tai Bwo Wannai while wearing the mask, they will refuse to talk, fearing the broodoo victim's presence. You won't be able to interact with them until you take the mask off.

If you possess a Crafting level of 35, you have the option to convert the mask into a Broodoo shield using two snakeskins, eight nails (of any type), and a hammer. This process grants you 100 Crafting experience.

How To Get A Broodoo Shield

To equip a Broodoo shield, a unique members-only shield, you need 25 Defence and 25 Magic. Creating this shield involves using a hammer on a tribal mask with two snakeskins and eight nails of any type. This process requires a Crafting level of 35 and awards 100 Crafting experience. Notably, a mask of a specific color results in a shield of the same color

To make a matching pair, you simply need to get two units of the same color of a Tribal Mask. You'll then need to convert one of the masks into a Broodoo Shield. Equip both and you'll have 40 points under your name.

One Of The Tougher Tasks Down
