How To Kill A Newtroost - OSRS Trailblazer Reloaded

You can go through hours of OSRS and never come across a Newtroost. However, if you want to complete all of the Trailblazer Reloaded tasks in the game, you'll need to kill one. You're not just tasked with killing any Newtroost. You'll have to kill one under the Tower of Life.

Although this task is relatively easy and yields only 10 points, it's going to take a bit of effort to do it. If you want to get the job done quickly, you've come to the right place as we're going to walk you through on how you can do it.

What Is A Newtroost?

In your OSRS adventures, the enigmatic Newtroost beckons to those who have conquered the Tower of Life quest. Venture into the depths of the Creature Creation dungeon within the Tower of Life building to bring this peculiar hybrid creature to life.

To summon your very own Newtroost, gather an Eye of newt and a white Feather. Make your way to the Newtroost altar of life tucked away in the dungeon. Combine the collected components and then activate the altar found in the north-eastern part of the dungeon. Watch as the Homunculus in the dungeon performs its arcane craft, giving life to the Newtroost. Brace yourself, as the freshly created creature will immediately launch into combat against you.

Aside from the fact that you'll first need to complete the Tower of Life quest for this task, the other tough part is finding the materials to create the Newtroot. Here where you can get the eye of newt and a white feather.

• Eye of Newt - There are lots of sources for eye of newt. However, you can buy packs of these at several locations for your convenience. Head over to Betty's Magic Emporium, Jatix's Herblore Shop, Myths' Guild Herbalist, Prifddinas Herbal Supplies, or Frincos' Fabulous Herb Store, and you'll find them available for a reasonable price of 300 coins.

Alternatively, you can check out Grud's Herblore Stall, where the packs are sold for a slightly higher price of 390 coins. If you find yourself near Regath's Wares, they also offer Eye of newt packs, though at a premium price of 420 coins.

• White feather - Most shops that sell feathers also sell feather packs which contain 100 feathers per pack.

A crucial tip for the aspiring creature creator: the altar only accepts white feathers. Colored feathers won't do for this mystical ritual. Make sure you have the right materials in hand to successfully summon a Newtroost in the mysterious dungeon of the Tower of Life.

Once you've summoned it, immediately kill the Newtroost. It's not going to be a difficult battle. In fact, the Newtroost only has a combat level of 19.
