OSRS Easy Money Making Guide

This guide contains passive money making methods in Old School Runescape. The easiest and quickest way to get OSRS Gold is by buying it at an online store, but if you want to farm yourself, here are your opportunities:

Crushing Bird Nests: If you have little to no money and low stats, crushing bird nests is one of your best options to make some decent gold. This has no stat requirements,  you can start doing this method with a small cash stack but if you want to do this efficiently, you will need around 25M to buy enough bird nests to last an hour. If you don’t have that much money just buy, crush then sell to buy more again. All you need is a pestle and mortar and bird nests. You can auto-grind them or manually grind them. Auto-grinding, grinds one every 3 ticks so it’s much slower so if you want to make money fast you will have to manually grind them.

Making Ultra Compost: Ultra compost is another great way of making money without any requirements. Compared to bird nests this method is relatively easier to do since the items you need to buy are cheaper. You only need around 2M to start doing this method efficiently. Buy yourself 2.700 supercompost and 5,400 volcanic ash and start creating ultra composts.

Filling Bullseye Lantern: This method also does not have any skill requirements. For this method you need to have your house located in Rimmington, this is due to the fact that you will need to go to the chemist’s house to fill a bullseye lantern. Full graceful outfit is recommended and you will need to bring along, teleports to a bank, teleports to house, 1,000 bullseye lanterns (empty) and swamp tars.

Tanning Black Dragonhide: Another simple yet effective method that does not require any skills to do. Full graceful outfit is recommended and if you want to, you can use stamina potions. All you have to do is to buy black dragonhides from grand exchange and make your way to Al-kharid. Bring along your cash stack and 27 black dragonhides to the tanner. Tan your hides and repeat. (Note that it is recommended for you to be patient while buying the hides and buy them for a low price to maximise your profits.)

Grinding Unicorn Horns: Just like the bird nests method, this is another easy money maker with no stat requirements. This is also much cheaper then bird nests as you only need around 700k to start this. Buy a pestle and mortar along with 9,000 unicorn horns and start grinding them. You can auto-grind them or manually grind them. Auto-grinding, grinds one every 3 ticks so it’s much slower so if you want to make money fast you will have to manually grind them.

GP/H: 430K

Crafting Limestone Bricks: This is the only method in this guide that has a slight stat requirement. You will need 12 crafting for this method but prior to 40 crafting you can fail this method, which will result in lesser profits so it is recommended to get 40 crafting before starting this.. Buy a chisel and around 5,000 limestone. Use the chisel on the limestones to create limestone bricks for a quick profit. There is no auto-create option for this method so it's fully manual.
