Getting started on Runescape 3 might feel daunting. Especially if you are just starting, the sheer amount of requirements you will face in every direction might become overwhelming. Most of these requirements will have a price tag attached to them. Stealing From Vegetable Stalls

Getting your first million gold pieces is always a challenge, but you can do it in the starting area of Lumbridge. This method will get you started on your journey and will allow you to use other methods mentioned in this guide.

Vegetable stalls require level 2 thieving to steal from, so pickpocket the local man and woman for like a minute to get there. After that, make your way over to the Lumbridge market and start stealing from the vegetable stall. There is a bank chest near the stall so banking your loot is pretty quick.

You can get around 50 Inventories' worth of loot in an hour, which will make you around 1.6M gold. Congratulations, you have just made your first million gold within 1 hour of creating your account.

Harvesting Pale Energy

If you are bored with the previous method and want to try and train another skill, you can make your way over to Draynor Village. South-east of the village, you will find a pale energy colony. Start harvesting the colony for some pale energies.

Harvesting these energies can make you around 900K gold per hour. These energies are used for crafting invention augmentors and divine charges, so this method will always exist as a solid early-game money maker.

Casting Bones to Bananas

Yes, you read the title right, casting bones to bananas spell actually makes your profit in this game. Bananas are mainly used for creating fruit bat familiars and fruity mushes. For this method, you will need the following:

• Level 15 Magic
• Staff of water or Mud battle staff
• 2,800 nature runes
• 72,800 bones (bones have a buy limit of 10.000 so if you are planning on doing this method, make sure to start buying bones ahead of time.)

Buying all of the materials costs around 17M gold.

To do this method efficiently, you must set up one of your quick presets and set its hotkey to “1”. After that, put your bones to bananas spell on “Q” and continuously hold down on the key. If done correctly, you can reopen the bank right after it closes since all your bones would already be done.

Doing this method for an hour will profit you 3M gold!

Cutting Granite

This weird money-making method takes advantage of the fact that granite is used for creating the granite lobster familiar. Creation of this familiar doesn’t specify the granite type, so we can cut 2kg granite pieces into 500g ones to make a profit. Keep in mind that sometimes it can be difficult to purchase on the Grand Exchange.

For this method, buy around 1.8K granite 2kgs which costs around 6.5M gold and withdraw 7 at a time and cut them into 500g pieces. You can expect to cut around 2000 pieces of granite per hour. Make sure to use the bank presets to speed up the process.

Doing this for an hour will make you around 5.6M gold!

Smelting Iron Bars

Smelting Iron bars is yet another great way to start making some cash in the early game. For this method, you will need level 19 Smithing along with 3,780 Iron ores, which is worth around 2.6M gold. You can start doing this method as early as level 10 Smithing, but the profit you can get doubles at level 19 Smithing. You can use any furnace to smelt the bars and bank them in your metal bank.

Doing this method for an hour makes you 1.5M gold profit!

Constructing Wooden Frames

Wooden frames are a resource used for constructing Fort Forinthry. To use this method, you must first complete the quest “New Foundations”. After the quest, you can use the sawmill right next to Bill to start the process of turning your planks into refined planks, then into frames. To do this method for an hour, you must have 1,440 planks, which is worth 352K gold.

Turning planks into wooden frames requires only level 1 Construction, but as your Construction level gets higher, you can start turning higher-level planks into frames for more profit. Here is a list of early game planks and their profits per hour:

• Wooden frame: 3.4M - Requires level 1 Construction.
• Oak frame: 3.6M - Requires level 10 Construction.
• Willow frame: 3.6M - Requires level 20 Construction.
• Teak frame: 3.2M - Requires level 30 Construction.

Making Stone Wall Segments

This is another no-requirement method that uses Fort Forinthry. For this method, we will be using the workshop in the fort to turn limestone bricks into stone wall segments. To do this method for an hour, you must have 4032 limestone bricks, which are worth 3.7M gold.

Doing this method for an hour will profit you 4.8M gold!

Tanning Hides

This popular and old money-making method is still amazing in Runescape 3. For this method, you are going to need the following:

• Level 2 Crafting
• 12 Portable crafters
• 40,000 of any dragon hide
• 800K coins

At peak efficiency, up to 60,000 dragonhides can be tanned in an hour, but the buy limit is only 10,000, so if you are going to do this method, you must prepare beforehand. To tan dragonhides efficiently, you must set up a bank preset consisting of 28 dragonhides of your choice and find a bank where you can deploy a portable crafting station nearby. You can right-click the portable crafting station to configure its left-click option to tan leather. Alternatively, you can use world 84, which usually has a crafting station deployed near the bank. After you are done with the setup, you can do the following:

1. Adjust your camera so that the crafting station and the bank are next to each other.
2. Load your bank preset by using your keybind and then click on the workstation.
3. Press space and at the same time click on the bank again.
4. Repeat.

Doing this method for an hour will profit you the following:

• Green dragonhide: 8.3M gold per hour
• Blue dragonhide: 9.3M gold per hour
• Black dragonhide: 4.1M gold per hour
• Royal dragonhide: 9.2M gold per hour

Crafting Clockworks

This method is great to do if you have low capital to start with. This method requires the following:

• Level 8 Crafting
• Level 25 Construction - Crafting table 2 built in POH
• 840 Steel bars - 1.3M
• Any teleport method to bank

The easiest method to do this is by moving your player-owned house to Taverley and using the Taverley loadstone to access your house. You can use the house teleport to teleport directly to the house bu that will cost you runes. For banking, you can use any teleport that puts you close to a bank, like the ring of duelling. Once you have everything ready teleport to your house and use your crafting table 2 to craft clockworks.

Doing this will profit you 6.9M gold per hour!

Blessing Extra Fine Sand

This is the king of money-making for new players, making the most amount of gold per hour. Blessing sand is required to create blessed molten glass, which is used for creating blessed flasks. This creates a huge demand for this item. To do this method, you will need the following:

• Level 20 Prayer
• 2,800 extra fine sand - costs around 7.4M gold

Once you have the items ready, you can head to any Saradomin-aligned altars to bless your sand, those altars are:

• Edgeville Monastery
• Lumbridge Church
• Entrana Church
• Abbey of St. Elspeth Citharede
• Everlight statues
• Saradominist player owned hose chapels

Pick the altar that works the best for you. You can AFK up to 72 seconds while doing this method.

Doing this method for an hour profits you around 14.3M gold!
